Florida FFA Foundation Seeks Donors Through "Advancing the Vision" Campaign
|
 We don't have to tell you about all the wonderful things FFA does to instill leadership and encourage involvement in agriculture. I am sure you experience a little bit of FFA every day in your home town or perhaps even in the leadership of your employees or co-workers. What you might not know is that the Florida FFA is embarking on a capital campaign to keep "Advancing the Vision." You will begin to see more details in months to come, but here are a few things the Florida FFA hopes to accomplish:
*Two lodge annex buildings (7,000 sq. ft., 20 guest rooms each) adjacent to the existing lodge
*Four additional villas (2,700 sq. ft., seven guest rooms each)
*A large pavilion on the Leadership Training Center property to accomodate FFA and other large groups
*A badly-needed maintenance facility to protect and service the growing amount of equipment required to maintain the Leadership Training Center grounds and buildings

Farm Bureau Awards Top Agriculturists

Congratulations to Mr. Carl Loop for receiving the well-deserved 2007 Farm Bureau Distinguished Service Award.
In addition, the following legislators received the Florida Farm Bureau Legislator of the Year Award:

Rep. Denise Grimsley
Sen. Mike Herodopolis
