Greetings!
It's been about a month since our last email
- times have gotten away from us. The March
MiniCon was a rousing success, with the
Mezzanines hopping with games all day long.
Other March events, like the start of the
Flames of War campaign, ongoing Combat
Commander league, Fields of Glory Demos, and
others have also been a success. Join us for
a game!
As April approaches, our Yearly Auction rears
its head. Details are below. Set the date
aside!

Annual EndGame Auction
|
|
From the upper mezzanine in our Downtown
Oakland store we will be auctioning off
hundreds of new and used games. Board games,
War games, miniatures, role-playing book
lots, posters, and other memorabilia will be
auctioned to the highest bidder.
The auction starts at 11am, with bid cards
available at 10:00am when the store opens.
Items are available for viewing from 10am
until 11am, and usually the prior Friday
Afternoon.
The auction schedule is subject to last
minute change, but we normally start with
board games, which will make up the bulk of
the Auction. Miniatures, RPGs and more will
generally start after 12 Noon. This year we
have an extraordinary collection of classic
Dungeons and Dragons material (Adventures and
more) that is already here.
The auction should end around 3:30pm.

Sell your games at the Auction
|
|
We start accepting games in early
april. All games must be accompanied by a
sales slip, which will be available in-store
or online as a .pdf once we are accepting games.
Sellers receive the final gavel price
of their items in store credit. Credit can't
be used to purchase other Auction items, but
it is good for any other items
in-store.
Any type of game or game
item is appropriate for the Auction. If you
have doubts, ask one of the staff, but we've
auctioned all sorts of games in the past.

Event Manifesto
|
|
EndGame is as much about playing games as buying
them. Our events and tournaments are centered
around the concept of having FUN while playing
games in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Unless
otherwise stated at the event beginners are
welcome.
At most events, rules are taught
and demonstrations are given. Event regulars
are
expected to welcome newcomers and help them
learn
the games being played.
Our weekly Schedule (listed to the below/to the
right) is fairly static. If we run a weekly
event,
chances are we will always run that event.
