Greetings!
It's the final weekend of the month -
February has swept past us in a whirlwind of
conventions, rain, and excitement. Here's
what's going on this month and early next!

This Weekend
|
|
East Bay Games Day - Saturday A
full day of board games and more - starting
at 10AM and running until 7PM, the lower
mezzanine is host to a wide variety of board
games, from 1-2 hour eurogames to 3-4 hour
games of Through the Ages or the most
exciting Fantasy Flight
Monstrosity.
New and old players are
welcome - come down and play games on what
promises to be a rainy Saturday!
40K a-palooza - Saturday Our usual
madness on the upper mezzanine, with multiple
games of Warhammer 40K, with a splattering of
other games thrown in. Warmachine/Hordes has
been sighted, as well as Infinity or
AT-43.
Arrange a game on our forums,
or just bring you favorite army down for a bash.
Historical Gaming - Sunday Flames
of War (the new Monty's Meatgrider book is
now in) and other Historical miniatures games
are the focus of most Sunday games, and this
week is no exception. We've got a number of
people excited by Osprey's new ruleset "Field
of Glory", so there will probably be some
chatter about that.
Games start
between 11:00-11:45AM.

March Upcoming!
|
|
March 2nd- Combat Commander Game
Day The Spring Combat Commander League is
in full swing with a wide range of players.
Newcomers are always welcome. Historical
Military games are a far cry from dead. Come
and check out the excitement!
March 9th- Field of Glory Demo and
Launch Osprey's new ruleset is out, and if
you're itching to try it out, this is the day
to do it. We'll have armies available for
demos, or for those fully-prepared, bring you
own! We'll be trying out the game and
attempting to learn the ruleset.
For
those not familiar, Field of Glory is a
wide-ranging historical miniatures game that
covers the length and breadth of Ancients
Wargaming. The initial books cover the Rise
of Rome and the Classical English periods
(English Civil War and more). The books
represent one of the first steps of Ancients
Wargaming into the current decade!
March 15th- The Ides of March - 2008
MiniCon V.1 The first 2008 MiniCon is
gearing up - check here
for a mostly-current list of games.
As always - We need gamemasters!
Submit your game to chris
following the instructions on the main
MiniCon Page. You can also sign up for games
at this point.
MiniCons are a full day
of Role-playing goodness, with three slots of
preregistered games. Expect the newest games
as well as old favorites.

Event Manifesto
|
|
EndGame is as much about playing games as buying
them. Our events and tournaments are centered
around the concept of having FUN while playing
games in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Unless
otherwise stated at the event beginners are
welcome. At most events, rules are taught
and demonstrations are given. Event regulars
are
expected to welcome newcomers and help them
learn
the games being played.
Our weekly Schedule (listed to the below/to the
right) is fairly static. If we run a weekly
event,
chances are we will always run that event.
