Greetings!
For this month, my chosen theme is Perspective. It is with a heavy heart that I write this month's introduction, as some close family friends of my sister's received news this last weekend that their son was 'lost at sea' following a marine collision. To date there is still no conclusive news. As a parent myself, I can totally empathise with how hopeless they must be feeling and it totally puts into perspective the triviality of any frustrations we may be feeling at this juncture in life. Here's another, less tragic, example: -
Perspective
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah, " said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn?" asked the father.
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to
protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."
With that in mind, isn't perspective fascinating? Life would be very different if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have. It's a timely reminder to appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!
On another note, each month I will be highlighting one or more dates when you can tune in for personal empowerment, either utilising your own skills and intuition or, if you choose, by subscribing to the Equilibrium Programme, with optional additional distant attunements.

On November 6th/7th, I'm offering a rare opportunity to study an introduction to Egyptian Alchemy (Reyad Sekh Em Level 1) over a weekend. Cost is £200. This course is ideal for other Practitioners wanting an induction into this exciting and profound healing modality, now also registered for CPD (Continuing Professional Development) by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA). Personal Review of last month
Afte my daughters had been back to school for three weeks, so I felt it was time to catch up on administration, at least that was the plan. The Universe had other ideas, as whilst I was nonchalantly preparing the breakfast one morning, a loud knocking sound in the utility room grabbed my intention. On closer examination, I discovered that we had a steam of water escaping through the ceiling light-fitting onto the cat biscuit sack! Further investigation determined that water was also escaping through three light-fittings in my therapy room necessitating me to co-ordinate several bowls and buckets into a 'damage limitation' exercise. Two weeks later, we are still awaiting approval of the insurance estimate to establish the exact cause of the leak. The first plumber, with 30 years experience, as he proudly announced, managed to poke 23 'investigative' holes in the therapy room ceiling before deciding that he couldn't really tell much because it is a suspended ceiling. As my husband later pointed out, this could have been ascertained from removing one of the offending light fittings and looking through the neatly cut hole. Oh well.
Two days later, BT, who had been camped on and off in the road outside our house for the last month or so, really 'pulled a blinder'. Our casual enquiries as to their ongoing intentions, led to an assurance that they were installing fibre optic cabling which would enhance our Broadband considerably. Somehow they neglected to mention that in a final one hour special, at which point special cranes were called in, they were going to erect a green monstrosity, emitting goodness know what electromagnetic signals, within 2 yards of our front drive and in the middle of the pavement. Funny, when we owned a shop, we were told that even to put an advertising 'A' board on the pavement, planning permission was required and if you want an extension on your home, there are a multitude of hurdles to jump through and opportunities for neighbours to object. A subsequent consultation with a genuinely helpful local counsellor determined that as a 'service supplier' in our 'collective good', BT have carte blanche to erect anything anywhere, as long as it does not exceed 2 cubic metres - provided it isn't outside a counsellor's house, I presume? All in the name of progress, I guess. Applying the month's theme of 'perspective', at least we should now have a clear broadband signal and I can always programme my personal 'merkaba' field to divert any resulting electromagnetic pollution over our house!
On the plus side, we had a lovely day at Avebury for the International Angel Day (IAD). The weather was fabulous and everybody found the day enjoyable, empowering and I believe revitalising. Whilst barefoot walking the Michael Leyline, we all tend to fall into our own preferred pace, so we tend to spread out a bit. Bizarrely, at one point I turned to find about 15 cows were following me (not any bulls luckily) and a couple more looked up and went to join them, until they saw that I had noticed and they lost interest. I've done that walk a myriad of times, in all weathers, and that's never happened before, it was really quite special. The next sacred leyline walk in Avebury is 3rd December and will include a Private Access Visit to Stonehenge.
Having driven down to Somerset for the IAD, the following weekend was the Essene Gathering, held on the Dorset/Devon borders. It was a lovely relatively informal event with about 30 attendees; all of whom felt a connection with the Essene philosophies. It was great to touch base and share time with other like-minded individuals. Anyone who would like to have attended but couldn't conveniently make the date and/or venue, might like to join the Essene Network International.
The Zodiac Symbols Workshop on 23rd September, really helped to capture the pivotal aspects of the date, which was picked because it was both the Equinox and the Full Moon. After I did the zodiac attunements, this invocation came through:
At this turning point of the year and turning point of the moon, let this be the turning point of our lives.

Joanna's Celestial Forecast for the Month | |

Please note Celestial Forecast is compiled from my own investigations and using many sources, but notably the Moonwise Calendar. Whilst considerable effort is made to ensure accuracy in this Celestial Forecast section, this is not an exact science and sources are sometimes contradictory!
Significant dates from ancient folklore and dates on which you can 'tune in' to higher frequencies
Thursday 7th October, though some sources say 10th October, is Going Forth of Isis (Aset) in Egyptian Tradition. Apparently, her heart is pleased on this day because 'the heritage is granted to her son Horus (Heru)'.
Thursday 7th October is also the Pagan Dark Moon at 19.45. The New Moon Abundance ritual should be carried out within 24 hours after the New Moon.
Sunday 10th October is arguably a primary 10:10:10 in numerology, as the year is 2010 and sometimes the year is abbreviated to the final digits only, hence the digits of each part of the date can be said to add up to 10. Personally, I see the year as 2010 which is a 3 (2+0+0+1 = 3) in numerology, so I am more interested in the 3:3:3 dates which, having occurred in March, will occur again in December (3rd, 12th, 21st, and 30th) - being a trinity of trinities I see this as most significant. Furthermore, 10 - representing perfection - is generally reduced down to a one anyway! However, precisely because many people worldwide will be recognising the 10th October as an auspicious date, this, in itself, will create a heightened energy on the day. The effect of a high number of people all having positive expectations on the same date, due to the impact of quantum physics, will make it powerful.
Friday 15th October is October Horse in Roman tradition, this being the Ides of October. The October Ides featured a two-horse chariot race on the Campus Martius.

Thursday 28th October is the Egyptian celebration of Isia, marking the 7 days that Aset (Isis) spent searching for the body parts of Asar (Osiris) following his death and dismemberment by his brother Set. This culminates on Wednesday 3rd November with Hilaria when she resurrected him by re-membering him; no doubt contributing to the definition of our word remember meaning to recall someone from memory.

Sunday 31st October is the end of the Summer Daylight Saving Time, so the UK clocks go back an hour at 01.00 hrs (Saturday night).
Sunday 31st October traditionally marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of the Celtic and Pagan New Year. Samhain is Irish-Gaelic for 'the Summer's end', and is pronounced 'sow-in'. Samhain represents the death of the summer sun god, Lugh. This festival celebrates Nature's cycle of death and renewal. This is traditionally known as Halloween. |

Introduction to Egyptian Alchemy & Reyad Sekh Em® Level 1 Two-day Weekend Course | |

 Reyad Sekh Em® is an ultra high vibrational Egyptian Alchemy healing system which harnesses the angelic elemental healing rays of earth, air, fire, water and spirit with etheric crystalline energies plus sound vibration and sacred breathing.
This is an introductory (Level One) programme including self-healings for all participants. Courses are rarely held at weekends.

Reyad Sekh Em can be learned as a natural progression from Reiki, although others learn the system having never felt drawn to learn Reiki. It is a deep system, which for many people, leads to advancement on their personal healing journey and a spiritual awakening, hence most students are not beginners and many are already Masters of other energy healing systems, though this is not a pre-requisite. The Ancient Egyptians (who called themselves Khemitians) identified five stages of life, each one of which was represented by a sacred symbol: Dawn known as Kheper (the scarab), high noon known as Ra (the ram), the afternoon sun was Oon (the scholar), full afternoon sun Aten (the wisdom-keeper) and finally at dusk Amen (the hidden or veil). 'Initiations' are given into Reyad Sekh Em by placing these sacred symbols (Kheper, Ra, Oon, Aten and Amen, one at each training Level 1-5; where Level 2 is the Practitioner level) into the aura at specific chakra points, opening the body to the angelic elemental healing rays of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. These symbols manifest in a dimension normally outside our awareness causing a change in the energy field. Our own vibrational state is then enhanced to bring awareness of other dimensions and accept the loving guidance of the life-forces within them.

Awakening Your Avatar, is basically a suggestion that we consolidate our internal conflict (balance our masculine/feminine, home/work-life, even positive/negative personality traits) and focus on connecting with our inner knowing (Higher Self) which we all hold within. This means opening the heart and working toward integrating the Higher Self (spiritual aspects) and Lower Self (basic functional needs) to create an enlightened being (Avatar).
James Cameron's blockbuster film Avatar struck some very deep resonances for me within the storyline, though I personally think the original film needed 30-45 mins less battle combat scene, but I've not seen the extended version with extra Na'vi footage. The blue skin of the Na'vi is interesting (Ptah, the Egyptian Deity, is depicted with blue skin and it is said that the beings from Sirius have blue skin), but I particularly like the way the Na'vi understand the inter-relationship between species and the need to honour all life forms, plus their appreciation of a life force infrastructure network operating via trees!
Of course Avatar, though it has come to mean in techno speak representation of self as a chosen archetype (or even via a Caricature), as defined by is original Sanskrit meaning, was the representation of a Deity via a human or animal body, so in the film both definitions are combined with the idea of an idealised/perfected template of self.
2010 is a '3' year in numerology. The 3rd month (March) and the 12th month (December, adding the digits, 1+ 2 = 3) each supply four dates where the digits add up to three (3rd, 12th, 21st & 30th). Each of these dates are separate examples of 3:3:3 numerology 'energy portals', which can be interpreted as meaning 'awaken your avatar' as well as 'creating heaven on earth'. These dates will offer amplified energies for manifesting our hopes and dreams. Ideally, as part of this schedule, we will undertake a meditation on the 3rd December at 3 - 3.33 pm GMT.
By awakening our Avatar, we can become masters of our destiny. Just imagine what we can do by tuning in 'en masse' at 3.33 (am or pm would work, though I fancy pm will be more popular!) on any of these 3:3:3 portals. I will be undertaking a meditation between 3 - 3.33, hopefully on all of these dates, but certainly on the 3rd, please tune-in if you are available.
Close your eyes at a convenient time, which could be 3pm in your local time or the equivalent of 3pm GMT (when we will be meditating), or, if this is not possible, then invoke Eth, the angelic Guardian of time, to bend time so that you can join us etherically. Send your positive intentions for awakening your Avatar and also for seeing the planet healed, to create for ourselves the next golden age. |

These life-changing sessions can be conducted in person or at a distance and are ideal for those who are experiencing a block/slowing down to their spiritual development or anyone wanting to move forward on their spiritual pathway. Pathways to Enlightenment, £10 + P&P
Chris Street is a walking encyclopaedia of the leylines in and around London and this book is as close as it gets to having easy access to his knowledge at all times. This latest publication captures Chris's infectious yet dry humour making the material extremely readable and he shares many of his secrets on where to go to 'tune in' to the empowering energies of ancient London sites.
Much of the information in Chris's book has been gleaned over consistent years of personal research (no doubt wearing out many pairs of shoes!!) especially as some of the former buildings on the named sites are no longer recorded locally. Although he starts with the four London Leys identified by Alfred Watkins in the Old Straight Track, he goes onto extrapolate these lines well beyond London, connecting them with other sites throughout southern Britain.  Review of Last monthSeptember proved to be a mixed bag. Althoughwe saw an end to the challenges thrown up by the cardinal square, Mercury was retrograde until midmonth. Not only did Londoners suffer from a number of Tube strikes, but many people found themselves short-staffed at work. The autumn equinox saw the Labour leadership race finally culminate in the election of Ed Miliband as the new Labour leader. His Capricorn Sun is currently in the same degree and sign as Pluto, indicating that he could be a major force for reform within the organisations such as government.

On the 23rd at 01h36 GMT, a SECOND Full Moon in Aries coincides with the Sun's ingress into Scorpio, making it a truly Mars-ruled time when self-preservation and independence may be important on an emotional level. This configuration also favours healing of all kinds especially through surgery or purification rituals.

Planetary Events & Energy Shifts throughout the month
During October, Venus, ruler of Libra and Taurus, will retrograde from the 8th to the 19th of November, moving backwards through the signs of Scorpio and Libra. Like Mercury, Venus experiences periods of apparent backward motion, although hers occur less frequently - approximately every 18 months. Still, this is likely to be a time when relationships and partnerships of all kinds undergo a regression or review.
At the same time, Mercury will be picking up speed, passing through two zodiac signs in the space of one month! After the slowdown of events during late August and early September, this is likely to come as a bit of a shock to the system. Expect the pace of life to quicken, perhaps a little too much so for certain people's tastes, as events & discussions concerning relationships, shared finances, education and religion begin to gain momentum.

New Moon Ritual
Abundance cheques are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon.
Surprisingly, you don't need to believe that the cheque will work when you write it. Apparently, you will be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.
There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a bank account you can draw a cheque on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way - the results will be the same, more abundance for you.
New Moon: Thursday 7th October at 19.45 UK time (GMT+1)
1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a cheque from your cheque book. Where it says "Pay to," write your name.
2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a UK Sterling amount write "Paid in full."
3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a sterling amount in figures, write "Paid in full."
4.) Sign the cheque: "The Law of Abundance."
Do not put a date on the cheque. Do not write a specific amount in the cheque. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.
If you don't have a cheque book, or don't use up a cheque, you can write the information on any piece of paper; it is the intent which counts.
It is said that many people are sceptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realise the power of these cheques and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!
