Greetings!
For this month, my chosen theme is Integration & Healing; June is the sixth month and in numerology six represents Spiritual Integration and Healing, with the six pointed star - or Macrocosm - representing 'the All'.
June is considered the 'Door' of the year, the gateway to the inner realms. The June Solstice is the turning point of the year, featuring the longest or shortest day depending on whether you are in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. The Oak is the tree of the summer solstice, the 'Door' used for looking back in the past and forward to the future and its wood is used in midsummer fires. To seal a relationship, dance three times around an oak tree!
For me, May was as diverse as ever, here's a summary of my bizarre month. Scroll down to the next green heading to skip this section.
Early in the month, I had the pleasure of hosting Chris Street for the day, as his next writing project required some research of the 'Coronation Line' after it has left London and it happens to pass right through the area where I live. I have been reading his latest book London's Ley Lines: Pathways of Enlightenment - see my review in the section below.
I envisage leylines as a representation of Earth's meridian system, with sacred sites often being located where they cross, forming potent vortices where the initiated can recharge their cells; just like a battery! I'm convinced that our ancestors could effortlessly detect these places and hence chose them as ideal locations for their places of worship.
As someone who has escorted numerous trips to known ancient power sites, especially around the UK and Egypt, I agree with Chris that Leys are elusive to many and yet totally tangible to others - who can draw personal empowerment from them.
I am delighted that soon Chris will be offering two walks along part of the Coronation Line - which is arguably the most energetically potent of the alignments - on Saturday 19th June (£20) and an extended walk specially for us on Tuesday 13th July (£30). See the separate section below, using the link above left.
Very soon after my lovely day with Chris, my oldest daughter Amber had an accident at her professional trampolining club. She was practising a piked barani (sounds like an Indian takeaway); a move she had made successfully on numerous occasions. She was 3-4 metres in the air and says she started the manoeuvre too late, consequently she landed awkwardly resulting in a compound fracture of the right arm and considerable blood loss where the bone had pierced the skin. After several hours in Casualty, it was established that both the radius and ulna of the forearm were broken in two, so she was scheduled for an operation to rebuild the bones with titanium plates. An anxious time for any parent. The hospital staff were great and I stayed in with her for two nights, after which she was discharged with a full length plaster cast from wrist to shoulder. As she has not yet regained much use of her fingers and being right-handed, she is currently unable to write and with some GCSE units (the first major nationwide exams for UK secondary school children) due within a few weeks, this necessitated making quite a few arrangements with her school and the relevant examination bodies. Much of the month has also been spent taxiing her about to/from school and various hospital outpatient appointments. The cast is now off and we are focussing on a food supplement programme and exercises to re-establish her manual dexterity and heal the scars. Much appreciation to those of you who sent distant healing. The injury has been rather inconvenient, but not insurmountable and we are hoping that the enforced use of her left hand/arm as the dominant limb will bring some unexpected bonuses, as it will develop new synaptic links in the brain from the increased use of the right hemisphere on a daily basis! Not that I'm advocating a badly broken arm as a beneficial experience ...
Almost immediately after Amber was discharged from hospital, I heard an advert for the Barclays Bank £50,000 Business Competition, which was closing 48 hours later. I decided to submit my Harmony Healing Virtual College idea. This led to a race against time to prepare a decent business proposal (not visible to the public) - which might sway the judges - as well as a 50 word summary and a two minute promotional video for uploading to the Barclays Competition site. After several technical hitches the entry went live one hour before the competition closed. With nearly 800 entries for my 'London South' area and realising that mine was a rather New Age concept, I wasn't really surprised not to be one of the three projects short-listed! Many thanks to all those who 'backed' my idea by voting on the Barclays site. You can still register your approval until 7th June when the next round commences, but it won't make any difference to my submission as it's already been knocked out; other than to indicate to onlookers that the idea might have some merit. In the meantime, I will have to shelve it until some other funding has been established!
The fabulous weather for part of the month has also meant that many fruitful hours have been spent at our allotment. We've had some wonderfully sunny days, the downside being very hard soil. Yet this weekend, we enjoyed slightly damp ground, perfect for weeding and planting out fragile seedlings. Today we were pleased to see the new apiary in a corner plot, recently allocated to a local bee-keeping society.
Talking of bees, I am so delighted that Edwin Courtenay and Sue Hodgson have decided to run their bee workshop in the Home Counties having first offered it in Sheffield last year. As an avid fan of bees and worried by their present plight, I was very drawn to the content. Costing £50, it will be held in West Ewell, Surrey on Saturday 7th August, see section below.

On Friday 2nd July, I am honoured to be the inaugural speaker for The Holistic Hub; a new initiative for all those interested in or practicing complementary therapies in the Sutton area of Surrey. On a spiritual level it is aimed at promoting awareness of holistic and spiritual principles in a friendly, supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Meetings will be held regularly on the first Friday of the month, commencing with my talk on how Reyad Sekh Em Egyptian healing can bring about personal empowerment.

However, there is an extended walk, specially commissioned for us, on Tuesday 13th July (£30) with added meditations and including extra opportunities to tap into energetic vortices along the midsummer axis between St Mary's Le Strand and St Paul's, embracing Temple Church (with Templar connections) and St Brides. Significant dates from ancient folklore and dates on which you can 'tune in' to higher frequencies
Saturday 5th June is World Environment day, which has been celebrated annually since 1972. Over the years, the day has focused on such issues as acid rain, oceans, water, and green cities.
Saturday 12th June is the Pagan Solstice Dark Moon at 12.15. The New Moon Abundance ritual should be carried out within 24 hours after the New Moon.
Monday 14th June is the Egyptian night, known as Leyleten-Nuktah, the Night of the Tear Drop. A miraculous tear-drop as Aset (Isis) began the mourning of her brother/husband Asar (Osirus), was believed to fall into the Nile causing it to rise and bring new life to the land.
Wednesday 16th June is the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, to commemorate the Chinese patriot, Qu Yuan, who killed himself by jumping into the river Li in despair of his country falling into the enemy's hands because his master refused to take his advice. It is on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar, which falls this year on 16th June, but celebrations may take place on nearby weekends in the Western calendar.
Monday 21st June is the Egyptian Festival of the Burning of the Lamps was held at Sais. This is the third great festival in Sais to Aset (Isis). In an under-chapel beneath the temple, lamps were carried in procession around the coffin of Asar (Osiris). It was by the power of light, symbolising the life-giving power of the Moon, that Aset rekindled life in her dead husband.
Monday 21st June at 12.29 is the Pagan Solstice. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is viewed as the triumph of light, the ecstatic culmination of the sun, yet the start of growing darkness. Old traditions included: Making a bonfire on a hilltop, sing, drink, laugh and time of merry-making. Processions with torches and lanterns, rolling wheel down hill to mark the start of the sun's descent, blessing cakes and wine, waiting for the dawn and greeting the sun when it rises, sleeping by a spring, rolling naked in the dew of the summer sunrise!
Tuesday 22nd June - Friday 2nd July is the Bootids Meteor Showerpeaking on Sunday 27th June (see entry under 27th June).
Wednesday 23rd June is Midsummer's Eve and was considered magical in Cornwall and Ireland, when there was feasting, fires, songs, and dances. Bonfires were kindled on high hills to commemorate the high point of the year. Traditionally, the veil is thin between the dimensions housing the living and the dead at this time.
Thursday 24th June is still called Midsummers Day even though the Solstice in this day and age has passed, traditionally Midsummer celebrations continue. This is also the Roman Festival of Fors Fortuna.
Saturday 26th June is Pagan Solstice Full Moon at 12.30. Between this date and the next New Moon is considered as a good time energetically for detoxing the body. Click here for Angela McGerr's Full Moon Meditation with Gabriel
Sunday 27th June is the peak of Bootids Meteor Shower, best observed in Northern Hemisphere. Look to constellation Bootes where Arcturus is located. This is known for very slow meteors, and is an unpredictable source, the June Boötids produced an unexpected outburst in 1998. In 2010, close proximity to the Full Moon will hamper viewing and short, twilight nights are unhelpful for British watchers. However, even casual observers here spotted the activity in 1998. |

London Walk: Along the Coronation Line with Chris Street | |
 Saturday 19th June, 11am - 2pm, cost £20

The Coronation Line is an important midsummer sunrise alignment associated with the sovereignty of this land. Amongst other places, it takes three sites connected to the process of coronation: The King Stone at Kingston-on-Thames, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's.
The walk on Saturday 19th June will start at St. Paul's church yard (north side) and learn some of the lesser-known history of St. Paul's. Then we'll walk the alignment to the NE visiting a series of interesting sites and ending at a quite remarkable one, an ancient mound disguised as a traffic island in Shoreditch. On the way we will attune to the sun-king energy of the alignment and to the spirit of place at several of the sites. This is a day for awakening the King who sleeps within the land. Afterwards, you can end the day with coffee, tea or a late lunch and shopping at nearby Spitalfields Market.
The extended walk on Tuesday 13th July will begin at St. Mary le Strand and doing the Strand Ley Churches, Temple church, St Bride's then up the midsummer line. The walk will then include all the sites listed above for the 19th June and finish at Spitalfields Market. |

Chris Street is a walking encyclopaedia of the leylines in and around London and this book is as close as it gets to having easy access to his knowledge at all times. This latest publication captures Chris's infectious yet dry humour making the material extremely readable and he shares many of his secrets on where to go to 'tune in' to the empowering energies of ancient London sites.
Much of the information in Chris's book has been gleaned over consistent years of personal research (no doubt wearing out many pairs of shoes!!) especially as some of the former buildings on the named sites are no longer recorded locally. As an added bonus, I love the way he 'dissects' the place names to connect them back to Celtic/Welsh/Druidic connotations.
Although he starts with the four London Leys identified by Alfred Watkins in the Old Straight Track, he goes onto extrapolate these lines well beyond London, connecting them with other sites throughout southern Britain. Emmanuelle's Biography
Emmanuelle has always felt angelic presence and never doubted its existence, yet her expertise on angels was restricted and her connection to them nonexistent. Driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge and begin her relationship to these amazing beings, she attended the International Angel German Congress in the spring of 2006.
She felt an immediate resonance with Angela McGerr's teachings and upon returning home, threw herself full time into Angela's books and cards. She completed the first Module 1 of Angela's Melchisadec Rainbow Eye e-course series in 2007, and went on to finish all modules of the e-course series. Her yearning had become a calling, and in 2008 Emmanuelle assisted Angela at the 3rd Annual Congress in Germany.
That same year she embarked as a mentor on Angela's online courses. In addition to that, she has studied the Blue Star Mystery School up to level 3, and Reyad Sekh Em level 1 and 2 with Angela's sister Joanna Bristow Watkins.

 Review of Last monthMay was election month, and quite an eventful time it was! Thanks to an opposition between Saturn and a Jupiter-Neptune conjunction on the 6th, Election Day seemed to be very much about 'out with the old' (Saturn) and 'in with the new' (Jupiter-Uranus.) With Mercury still retrograde, sorting out results and establishing a new government took a little longer than usual.

Lunar Phases
The New Moon in Gemini on the 12th of June (11h15 GMT)isa favourable time to begin new teaching or writing projects, and engage in political, commercial and social activities. On the 26th of June (11h30 GMT), a Full Moon in Capricorn is a good time to let go of emotional burdens and reform outdated roles and responsibilities.
Solar Phases
The summer solstice, when the Sun ingresses into sensitive and intuitive Cancer, takes place on the 21st of June at 11h28 GMT. Nurturing activities and home-based projects are well-starred, as are pursuits related to cooking, family and motherhood.
Planetary Events & Energy Shifts throughout the month
On the 8th of June, planetary heavyweights, Jupiter and Uranus meet in feisty Aries - an event that only occurs every 13-14 years. The urge to expand your horizons and make immediate, large-scale changes is likely to be strong now. However, try not to act prematurely - a lunar eclipse on the 26th of June will only force you to alter plans and make adjustments. Pluto will be conjunct the Moon, adding emotional intensity to situations that require responsibility and attention to detail. Simultaneously, a cardinal grand cross involving Pluto, Jupiter-Uranus, Saturn and a Sun-Mercury conjunction is likely to block progress whilst forcing the elimination of what is no longer necessary. The resulting simplicity will allow your thoughts to become clear and focused on what your heart has been trying to tell you for some time. On a global level, this is likely to be an eventful period when we are likely to see some major shifts in our relationship to power, money and in particular, the earth and her resources, including oil. Coalition leaders, David Cameron and Nick Clegg, both have their suns in cardinal signs, so I wonder how this will work out for them?

| Abundance Cheques |
|  Saturday 12th June New Moon Ritual
Abundance cheques are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon.
Surprisingly, you don't need to believe that the cheque will work when you write it. Apparently, you will be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.
There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a bank account you can draw a cheque on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way - the results will be the same, more abundance for you.
New Moon: Saturday 12th June @ 12.15* (UK Time = GMT+1)
1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a cheque from your cheque book. Where it says "Pay to," write your name.
2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a UK Sterling amount write "Paid in full."
3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a sterling amount in figures, write "Paid in full."
4.) Sign the cheque: "The Law of Abundance."
Do not put a date on the cheque. Do not write a specific amount in the cheque. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.
If you don't have a cheque book, or don't use up a cheque, you can write the information on any piece of paper; it is the intent which counts.
It is said that many people are sceptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realise the power of these cheques and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!
