Greetings!
The theme for July is Gratitude. Here's an inspiring little story on Youtube (7 mins, working until my final check before sending, hopefully it will be back up when you try to look at it, otherwise check out Tony Melendez) which certainly made me feel gratitude for my lot in life: Youtube link to Don't ever say I can't Being born in 1960, I am a contemporary of the Thalidomide era ...
On a separate note, I have become very worried about the decline in the bee population. I have always loved bees. It has been quoted that Einstein remarked "If the bee disappears from the surface of the Earth, man would have no more than four years to live. No more bees, no more pollination, no more men". Whilst no-one has been able to verify if and when Einstein made this observation, it's certainly true that bees play an important part in our ecostructure and they are definitely dying in big numbers the world over. Speculation as to whether their demise can be attributed to widespread use of a culprit pesticide, a mystery virus or mobile phone masts confusing their sense of direction, I believe it is high time we started appreciating them and sending them our healing thoughts.
Our News
What a strange month it's been, nearly every healer I know has had health challenges. I had a mouthful of ulcers and a headache over the 14th/15th June weekend and managed to spill smoking hot olive oil down my leg as I was cooking roast potatoes for Father's Day! I'd like to think it's been another vibrational shift giving us the opportunity to work on the next layer of karmic issues, but there's always the possibility I've just been clumsy and eating the wrong things!
On a more positive front, you may remember that last month I finally finished my article on Orbs, following the Prophet's Conference, which Angela and I attended in March. It's going into Paradigm Shift Magazine Issue 38 www.paradigmshift.info out in early July (a UK magazine but available in USA via Barnes & Noble and also in selected outlets in Australia). An edited version has featured in the current edition of Energies In Action, with the full version available on their website www.energiesinaction.co.uk/articsORBS.htm Since last month's e-Newsletter, thanks to Kirsti Gallagher, we have managed to make my Orb Presentation available to watch on Windows Media Player:
The Orbs Conference is coming to Glastonbury, 10th - 13th July. Sadly their administration is so poor that I have given up on attending this one, having e-mailed and called numerous times and not having received even an acknowledgement. I would love to have heard Jude Currivan's presentation as most of the other presenters were at Palm Springs. For further details follow this link.
This month, I have made a preliminary recording of the Melchisadec chant and hope to re-visit that in a couple of months to add a harmony track.

Worthy Causes

July energy shifts (BST based time information = GMT +1)
The Pagan Dark Moon occurs on the night of Wednesday 2nd July at 03.19 BST (GMT + 1) that is very early on Thursday morning. The New Moon Abundance Cheque Ritual is detailed towards the end of this e-Newsletter, see quick link opposite.
The period between this New Moon and the next one on Friday 1st August is the period of the Holly Moon. Holly is traditionally seen as the counterpart of Oak and is associated with the Hom Oak or Holly Oak; standing guardian over the waning year. It is a sad reflection that having had the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, our days are now growing shorter! Holly has hard, dense, fine-grained wood, used for engraving and printing blocks and indeed now reknowned to a whole new generation as the wood used for Harry Potter's Wand! Holly was said to be a good talisman for a long journey, such as a pilgrimage.
The Full Moon in July - this month on the night of 17th/18th July (technically at it's fullest at 08.59 Friday 18th) - is Guru Purnima (the Full Moon of the Gurus) in Hindu tradition. At least one revered spokesperson called Dattareya Siva Baba, believes that on this day all humanity will be 'drenched by the Grace Light'. To hear his message on Youtube: Something extraordinary is happening Friday 1st August marks the Ancient Egyptian New year, following five Epagomenal days of celebration for the birthdays of their ancient major Deities. The Egyptian New year traditionally marked the start of the Nile flood, started by the tears of Aset (Isis) over the death of Asar (Osirus). The exact correlation of the Egyptian New year to the modern calendar is disputed, but I favour the linking with the heliacal rising of Sirius (dawn visibilty of Sirius) as this star, known to the Egyptians as Sopdet (pronounced Soppday) was closely associated with Aset. The celebrations began on the Eve of the Epagomenal Days - viewed in this system as Friday 25th July. The following days marked the birthdays of the five children of the Egyptian Deity Nut. Saturday 26th July being the birthday of Asar (Osirus), Sunday 27th July is the birthday of Heru (Horus), Monday 28th is the birthday of Set (Seth), Tuesday of Aset (Isis) and Wednesday of Nebt-het (Nepthys). Being dates of powerful Egyptian Energies these may prove ideal days for an Egyptian Energy Reyad Sekh Em 1-2-1 healing session. According to myth, Tehuti (Thoth) enabled Nut to give birth to her five children (Isis, Osiris, Set, Horus the elder and Nephreys) by using his cunning to win a game of draughts with the moon. By winning a seventy second part of the moon's light, he managed to create five extra days (the Epagomenal days), which allowed Nut to give birth to her five children without breaking Ra's decree that her children could not be born on any existing calendar day. This myth more than any other is responsible for Tehuti (Thoth)'s role as a lunar deity.
Planetary Events in July and early August
The most notable event is 1st August with a total eclipse of the sun visible in the Canadian Arctic and north coast of Greenland. Observers in Canada, Europe and most of Asia will see the northern section of the sun obscured. In London, 13% of the sun will be hidden at 10.12 BST (09.12 GMT).

| 1-2-1 Reyad Sekh Em® Healing Sessions |

 1½ - 2 hours (Cost weekdays £100, Evenings/weekends £150)
A session can be conducted in person or at a distance. A running commentary of the entire session is recorded onto a tape cassette for future reference. Joanna works at a level beyond the physical. There is no manipulation involved and you remain fully clothed.
The format of a 1-2-1 healing session unfolds through synchronicity; working along the body from head to feet, scanning and adjusting energies, which may feel similar to a Reiki-type energy healing session. Angelic energies, etheric crystal breathing, vocal tones and tuning forks are used intuitively. Part of this process may induce past life recall; anything that comes to mind will be detailed on the tape. The person being healed may experience the same and/or different past lives or have no recollection of this process.
A negative energy drain (negative energy being heavy stale energy, which is in the wrong place) is used on part or all of the body. A portal is used to return this energy to its own dimension. Generally, this energy drain system also releases any entities provided the host is ready to let go! This includes dissolving past life vows (such as poverty, chastity, silence, obedience) and breaking ties with past events and contacts as desired. Any etheric devices discovered may be removed before or after this drain as appropriate.

| Abundance Cheques |

New Moon Ritual
Abundance cheques are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon.
Surprisingly, you don't need to believe that the cheque will work when you write it. Apparently, you will be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.
There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a bank account you can draw a cheque on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way - the results will be the same, more abundance for you.
New Moon: 03.19 on Thursday 3rd July (Wednesday night)
1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a cheque from your cheque book. Where it says "Pay to," write your name.
2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a UK Sterling amount write "Paid in full."
3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a sterling amount in figures, write "Paid in full."
4.) Sign the cheque: "The Law of Abundance."
Do not put a date on the cheque. Do not write a specific amount in the cheque. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.
It is said that many people are sceptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realise the power of these cheques and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!
As the next New Moon is also early in the month - 11.13 on Friday 1st August - you might like to note it in your diary now, in case my next e-Newsletter is circulated close to that date. |
