Greetings!
The theme for March is Trust and the Cherokee Rite of Passage illustrates this perfectly.
Cherokee Rite of Passage
His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone.
He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it.
He cannot cry out for help to anyone.
Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.
He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own.
The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!
Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold.
It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him.
He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm.

In the North of England, we ran successful courses last month in York and Liverpool. Both areas will host courses again in the future as will Newcastle and Carlisle.
A Reyad Sekh Em Level One Intensive Course (recommended for those already working with energy healing £150) is taking place in the Oxford area on the 2nd April (see below).
The Midlands area, perhaps Birmingham and/or Stratford-on-Avon is under consideration.

March energy shifts (UK based time information)
The Pagan Dark Moon occurs at 17.14 GMT (UK time is GMT at this time of the year) on Friday 7th March. Remember the New Moon is also the time for the Abundance Cheque Ritual, see below for details.
The period between this New Moon and the next one on 5th April, is the period of the Alder Moon. The Alder is the tree of fire and the Goddess incarnate. It grows in wet places, and its seeds will float downstream to start new groves
5th March is the Ploiaphesia Egyptian Festival of Navigation. This was when one of the most important festivals of the Egyptian Goddess Isis was celebrated, the Ploiaphesia or Navigium Isidis (Ship of Isis). The festival marked the opening of the safe sailing season after the stormy weather of winter had passed. A statue of Isis was carried in procession from her temple down to the harbour, where a specially-built ship was moored.
20th March is the Egyptian Festival of Pelusia, with the Egyptian Goddess Isis working her spring magic to ensure the flooding of the Nile later in the year, thereby guaranteeing a fruitful harvest.
The Equinox is on Thursday 20th March at 05.48 GMT and the Full Moon is 21st March at 18.40 GMT. On the Equinox, light and dark are equal over the whole world: mark the moment of the Equinox with silence and stillness.
In the UK, the clocks go back on the night of Saturday 29th March, in fact at 01.00 on Sunday 31st and that is the start of British Summer Time.

| Talk: Combat Cancer with Complementary Care |

A presentation to members of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) to discuss self-help ideas for cancer patients and their supporters; outlining Joanna's latest research into drug-free self-help techniques. The talk is also open to non-members of the FHT at a cost of £8 (£6 to members).
The talk will provide suggestions for those undergoing the orthodox route of treatments (i.e. surgery and/or radiotherapy or chemotherapy) as well as those looking exclusively for alternative approaches. Lifestyle choices, diet, healing and emotional release will be discussed.
The FHT is the largest multi-disciplinary therapy association in Europe with over 22,000 members and around 35 local support groups (a figure which is rapidly growing) which provide both local support and education.
The Local Support Groups are open to our own membership, practitioners and students from other associations and also the general public. The meetings are held in local areas at regular intervals and publish a Calendar of Events throughout the year, listing dates and well-qualified speakers on a wide range of topics which have an appeal to practitioners and members of the public.

| Talk: Sound Healing and Demonstrations |

Sounds introduce a vibration into the energy field, which is transmitted via the cerebrospinal fluid and connective tissue into the cells. Tuning forks produce a pure sound, a single frequency without harmonics. It is speculated that by generating a sound movement, which coincides with the cranial rhythmic impulse, we can stimulate the basic healing mechanism of the body. By creating sound waves between the frequency of Alpha and Theta brainwaves, we can promote a relaxed or even dream state in the listener.
Joanna works with Inner Sound Tuning Forks but also utilises vocal tones; which are intuitive and vary considerably in style and pitch. She has developed a negative energy drain system for use on the body and afterwards vocal sounds recalibrate the cells and fill the area with vibrant healthy energy.

Reyad Sekh Em can be learned as a natural progression from Reiki, although others learn the system having never felt drawn to learn Reiki. It is a deep system, which for many people, leads to advancement on their personal healing journey and a spiritual awakening. The Ancient Egyptians (who called themselves Khemitians) identified five stages of life, each one of which was represented by a sacred symbol: Dawn known as Kheper (the scarab), high noon known as Ra (the ram), the afternoon sun was Oon (the wise), full afternoon sun Aten (the wiser) and finally at dusk Amen (the hidden or veil). 'Initiations' are given into Reyad Sekh Em by placing these sacred symbols (Kheper, Ra, Oon, Aten and Amen, one at each training Level 1-5; where Level 2 is the Practitioner level) into the aura at specific chakra points, opening the body to the angelic elemental healing rays of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. These symbols manifest in a dimension normally outside our awareness causing a change in the energy field. | 1-2-1 Reyad Sekh Em® Healing Sessions |

1½ - 2 hours (Cost weekdays £100, Evenings/weekends £150)
A session can be conducted in person or at a distance. A running commentary of the entire session is recorded onto a tape cassette for future reference. Joanna works at a level beyond the physical. There is no manipulation involved and you remain fully clothed.
The format of a 1-2-1 healing session unfolds through synchronicity; working along the body from head to feet, scanning and adjusting energies, which may feel similar to a Reiki-type energy healing session. Angelic energies, etheric crystal breathing, vocal tones and tuning forks are used intuitively. Part of this process may induce past life recall; anything that comes to mind will be detailed on the tape. The person being healed may experience the same and/or different past lives or have no recollection of this process.
A negative energy drain (negative energy being heavy stale energy, which is in the wrong place) is used on part or all of the body. A portal is used to return this energy to its own dimension. Generally, this energy drain system also releases any entities provided the host is ready to let go! This includes dissolving past life vows (such as poverty, chastity, silence, obedience) and breaking ties with past events and contacts as desired. Any etheric devices discovered may be removed before or after this drain as appropriate.

New Moon Ritual
Abundance cheques are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon.
Surprisingly, you don't need to believe that the cheque will work when you write it. Apparently, you will be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.
There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a bank account you can draw a cheque on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way - the results will be the same, more abundance for you.
New Moon: Friday 7th March
1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a cheque from your cheque book. Where it says "Pay to," write your name.
2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a UK Sterling amount write "Paid in full."
3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a sterling amount in figures, write "Paid in full."
4.) Sign the cheque: "The Law of Abundance."
Do not put a date on the cheque. Do not write a specific amount in the cheque. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.
It is said that many people are sceptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realise the power of these cheques and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!
