The desire is deep on all your parts to understand that which is not satisfactorily communicated with language of the mind. It is the deeper understanding of the soul through the space of the heart and must be employed for all questions from the mind.
They cannot be answered, understood, by isolating the mental. Although you be physical beings, you are equipped with layers of satisfaction. Understanding then meshes the layers together to make sense for you while in physical embodiment, to a degree.
So it is you must introduce the heart's understanding, combine it with the mental layer and together, come close to the spiritual equivalent, or that which is the closest of your understanding of it while in the physical
So to address questions regarding evil is difficult, the mental perceives it in one fashion, while the emotions rear up in disgust at the examination of it. How to arrange these to mesh is no easy task. Several have questioned us regarding this concept in regard to other physical beings and their actions.
The apparent evil you see in others is a portrayal of experience designated for the effectual ongoing service of soul to soul for growth and learning.
We hasten to say that as growth occurs these souls eventually discover that such contracts are not necessary. That indeed growth may come less from the negative, evil, disaster and more from ease and joy.
However many souls are at a level of understanding which dictates that further growth must come from an association of service through pain.
These souls then, contract one with another to play the roles of service together to out-picture in experience the passing of pain for purposes of growth and learning. Is this necessary? It is not, yet each soul must come to this level of awareness themselves.
Some repeat the patterns of pain over and over before reaping this understanding. Because of the lack of true understanding of karma on the part of many, they pass from lifetime to lifetime enduring the sequence of affliction of one sort or another.
When caught up in this contractual agreement, made and fully chosen by each before entrance into the physical, each soul is contributing through love to the other that which each believes is necessary to work out their lessons.
In the physical realm, this can appear to be great evil incarnate. The personality judges what only the soul can understand. This is not to say that misguided actions shall go un-addressed in the physical, only that true depth of understanding regarding them cannot be grasped.
Know that it was never God's will but your own, unseemly as that might appear. Know also that the outline was constructed before entry here, there were and are several junctures at which you may have initiated change of circumstance. You may always choose to learn the lesson differently.
We dislike the term lesson for it harkens to your concept of forcible learning entertained in your schools' systems. But in our terms it has a gentler, kinder connotation, even though it may be ascertained by what appears as evil.
So then, if you are in the presence of what you consider to be a negative energy, realize that it can only penetrate a receptive organism. You do not, we repeat, do not, need to go through the machinations of attempting to reverberate such energy back to it's owner. Do not think of this in such a way. Only know that the visage of grace is yours, it is the face that returns no enmity towards another, therefore, no arrow can pierce it's countenance.
The arrow does not then return back as a sling shot to the perpetrator, it does then dissolve as does it's evil intent. This is the best possible desire for you to cherish. We do not contribute to your belief in holier than thou:"it will not pierce me, but I relish the thought that it returns to the sender to pierce his heart."
What vainglory is this concept you would hold toward another? Peace is never achieved through righteous indignation and punishment. Leave that to those institutions that promulgate such theories to no avail. It is only when the one who intends destruction is shown lack of enmity in return for his attack that such institutions will fall from favor.
This is not to say, please do not misperceive, we do not say you shall offer yourselves up as victims to another. Never, only that in your goodness, you do not delight in vengeance upon them. Look to your own light to keep you safe. Send, spread that light to the darkness, not from hand to their hand in close proximity, but from heart space of soul to the soul of the other, though at a physical distance.
Much is accomplished within, on the soul level. Much recognition, remembrance is achieved, though it may not appear so in conscious awareness. Yet your lack of reciprocity in kind may ignite the spark of light to fuel the fire of awakening and change in another. Always speak to that possibility from your heart's desire, never for protection aimed at returning ill intent.
You are protected as you choose to walk in grace without an opening to evil through fear or anger. You stay protected in that space. The other is then on their path, you remain upon your own.
Of course, there are many levels of what you term evil intent and again, many levels of such action promulgated. To tell you that there are no victims seems merciless, it does not make us popular. Yet we attempt to convey a spiritual concept beyond your personality's grasp and acknowledge the difficulty for you in this with great compassion.
We tell you that the focus of fear greatly promotes such interactions known as evil. It grows like a culture fed by fears trembling's. To say it is not evil is to appear we are liars. So we will say instead, that it can be contained and not spread when not prodded and poked.
As you focus your attention more upon those things you would want, we will then be addressing such subjects as this the less. We do not say to ignore another's pain, yet do not fight in order to flourish. Envision to transmute.Power is absolute though it seem timid when it is predicated upon belief of good.
Belive, Believe, Believe, is not just for Santa Claus and Tinkerbell. It is for the concept, the reality, the truth of what they represent. They were not born purely of fantasy, they are representations of the truth of all goodness. Clap your hands, we say believe. Goodness is not just children's tales, it is remembrance evoked.
As you look into a child's eyes you believe again and realize what it is you have forgotten. Grow the goodness within you, believe in your own. As you do, it will spread and you will see it all the more in others.
The question then is not "why and how evil". It is "how can we grow the good"? Show us not how to defend from attack and return evil upon itself, but how can we better shine the Light"
