10:00am African American male and female tappers in their 20s-30s
Men: Should have rhythm, elegance, and panache. Singing is a plus but not necessary. Bring tap shoes and if you sing, sheet music to sing from.
Women: Should tap and sing in the style of Cora La Redd. Principal role. Bring tap shoes, sheet music to sing from and dress in clothes that move with you.
1:00pm Contemporary Dancer Sign Up
2:00pm African American eccentric and contemporary male dancers in their 20s -30s with great isolation skills (hip hop, popping, crunking, crumping, etc) who can move in the style of Snake Hips Tucker. Come prepared with your own routine and bring your own CD. You do not need to dance to standards or music in the style of the show.
Bring a headshot and resume stapled together. Accompanist provided. |
