Lynn Schwab teaches both classic and contemporary tap repertory geared to Advanced Beginning level students, in a fun

an opportunity to present the work in an informal performance. No drop-ins allowed, but students may take one class before registering for the 13-Week Session. Students in this Repertory course are encouraged to attend one of our weekly Advanced Beginning tap technique classes or the Rudiments class.

Rhythm is our Business

In January of 2010, we moved into our new

home at the American Tap Dance Center. Our training programs promote the joyful embodiment of rhythm and build critical life skills through active cooperation, creative problem solving, patience, confidence, discipline and attuned listening

BUT, we need a new LIGHTING SYSTEM to function properly. We have lights, but they are old, broken down and very harsh. We have around 500 people coming each week for daily tap classes. 190 of these students are kids. They deserve to see and be seen!

Your donations, large or small, will make this happen. We have already enlisted the DONATED services of a parent who is an expert in the field, and Con Edison is offering a 70% discount on energy efficient systems. We know what we need, and we are ready to act. The cost of our new lighting system will be realized in savings on our utility bill within two years!

LET THERE BE LIGHTS!
