Renovations are Underway!

We are excited to begin the process of Operation Studio Renovation! The process of sound proofing and laying wood floor in both studios here at our new location on Christopher Street is starting!  We will update you as we get closer to opening the doors to our floors in the New Year!

Dearest friend and supporter:

The American Tap Dance Foundation is calling all rhythm enthusiasts; all beat, measure, and phrase buffs...we REALLY need you now!  We have moved our office to a NEW location with two studios that will revolutionize how we deliver our programs.

We focus on access and excellence; a parent of one of our scholarship students put it best:

"Thank you so much for awarding my daughter Taiya a scholarship to study tap with the American Tap Dance Foundation...her Sundays spent at tap, I can see, helps build her confidence and creative expression.  Taiya is blossoming into a wonderful pianist and studies rhythm and music theory.  Tap enhances those pursuits as well.  Taiya's teachers at ATDF are very skilled and they have great compliments for her. I am so encouraged, that I have decided to take a class or two while she studies."

We are very proud that our programs have such a positive effect on families.  Your continued support means the world to us. Now, as our long term goal of a Tap Center is at the tip of our toes, we urge you to deepen your participation. Your assistance encourages our young dancers to cooperate in a group working hard toward a collective goal. These skills are tools everyone needs, especially during difficult times, and will serve our students for the rest of their lives in any field they choose to pursue.

Help us OPEN the DOORS to our FLOORS to more families like Taiya's!

Donations from individuals are a critical component of our funding, so please give as generously as you can to our Annual Fund.  Thank you in advance for your gift and for everything you do for tap and the ATDF.

Shop to Earn
A note from Cindy Roush (Tony's sister, a board member, friends face at the sales table, & fellow tapper!)

In an effort to raise money for the ATDF, we now have our very own shopping web portal.  This web portal allows you to shop for all those items you already buy on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.  You purchase them through our web site, and we receive rebates.  With the Holidays quickly approaching, this is a great time to start your shopping. I personally purchased Gift cards through Home Depot, and Borders bookstores.  No shipping costs and we get rebates on top of that!!!!

Here's how it works:

1. Go to: www.shoptoearn.net/supportATDF   (Add this site as a favorite)

2. Click the big "Shop to Earn" logo at the top left:
  • Select a retailer from the list (lots of variety, including Target, Home Depot, PetSmart, Expedia, Drugstore.com, and many more), over 1,260 stores in all, or...
  • Choose a category from the list on the left, and go straight to all stores offering your selection.
  • START SHOPPING -  ATDF MAKES MONEY

3. Toward the middle of the page, click "Shopping Promos".  You'll see three selections for savings:  Retailers' Shopping promotions, Retailers' Shipping Promotions, and Retailers with Zero Sales Tax.  Check out these areas for coupons, discount codes, sales, etc.  To return to the home page where you started, just close the "promotion" window(s) by clicking the X in the upper right corner.

4. If you comparison shop by going directly to a retailer's site, be sure and go back to the Shop to Earn site before purchasing, and again, please save our site as a favorite.  You'll find that the prices are exactly the same because our site is a portal to their web site.

Other great stuff:

The Shop to Earth link, also on the home page, lists retailers that offer eco-friendly products - cleansers, garden products, health food, clothing and more.

Please give Shop to Earn a try.  Even if you don't have anything to buy right now, take a few minutes to look at the variety of products.  If you can't find something you usually buy, send me an email, and I'll be happy to find it for you. I'll really appreciate hearing what you think.

Please contact me with all questions.  It is a little confusing at first but very cool once you get started.  I am here to help!
