Greetings!

It's hard to believe summer is almost over and school will be starting soon.  We've had some wonderful weather and wanting to savor it more, we decided to Celebrate GREEN as we all have a lot to be grateful for.

Green is a hot topic these days, from green homes to green (hybrid) cars to green furniture and more. Even the grocery stores are putting out signs to encourage everyone to use "reusable" cloth bags so we can stop wasting the disposable bags we've grown up with.

The green movement is here to stay although each of us will change different habits at our own pace. Hopefully together we can do a better job of protecting our environment for the  generations that will follow us. There are many changes you you can make at home. Some are free like remembering to turn off the lights when you leave a room. Others are inexpensive like planting drought resistant trees and shrubs to reduce water usage.

Going green is more about changing how you look at things, what actions you take or don't take. We would be happy to help you make your home more green and remember that through the end of 2010, there are federal energy tax credits for home owners up to $1,500 (tax credit details).
