Roanoke Trade is the proud sponsor of NCBFAA's $5,000 scholarship for use at an accredited college or university of your choice. High school seniors and undergraduate students are eligible to apply for this worthwhile award. To be eligible for consideration an applicant must be an employee, or child of an employee, of a regular NCBFAA member, but may not own a company involved in the industry. In addition, the candidate must be pursuing a career in customs brokerage, freight forwarding or a related field, such as international trade.
The National Customs Brokers & Forwarders of America, Inc. (NCBFAA) was established in 1897 and is headquartered in Washington, DC. The organization represents nearly 870 member companies including freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries (OTIs), NVOCCs and air cargo agents, serving more than 250,000 importers and exporters.
