Reminder - Only Use AAIC Bonds on or Before August 31
August 29, 2011 |
|
August 31, 2011 is the last day in which a Washington International Insurance Company (WIIC, surety 891) bond may be filed with CBP. If you are not using the new American Alternative Insurance Corporation (AAIC, Surety 036) bond forms by now, it's time to begin!
If you have any WIIC paper bond supplies here's what you need to do:
- Start using the AAIC bonds previously provided.
- Email the serial numbers of your unused WIIC bond inventory to fastbond@roanoketrade.com. Alternatively, call them in to your Roanoke Trade service representative.
- Destroy (shred, tear in two, etc.) and discard the obsolete bond forms. No bonds, other than AAIC - surety 036 - should be used after August 31, 2011.
If you are already taking advantage of one of Roanoke Trade's automated bond options and are no longer using paper bond forms, you do not need to do anything further. To learn more about Roanoke Trade's FastBond™ or other automated bond options, please contact fastbond@roanoketrade.com or your service representative. Don't delay in gaining an efficiency advantage for your organization... get automated with Roanoke Trade today!
