ZUNA INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND ENTERTAINMENTHOST FOR 2011 NATIONAL BLACK LESBIAN CONFERENCE Sacramento, CA (July 1, 2011) - Zuna Institute announces our Keynote Speaker Linda Villarosa, Author, Journalist, and Public Speaker, and C.C. Carter a writer, poet, and Performance artist at our 2011 National Black Lesbian Conference August 25-28th, 2011 at Walt Disney World. Linda Villarosa, in 1991 wrote "Coming Out," and article in Essence Magazine which set a precedent on Black lesbian articles published in a mainstream magazine. Recently Villarosa wrote "Passing for Black," about a "quest for identity - being black, female and gay."  CC Carter in the slam competition scene won the 5th Annual Guild Open Mic Competition, as well as several local and national slams. She is, "Sade, MeShell, and J.Lo rolled Into One Toungue."
