The North Home

Built at the turn of the century, the North family home was 25 years in the making.  Rumor has it that Mrs. North never took a liking to the home.  Located near today's North Park, this mansion was the talk of the town in it's day.  Later dismantled, many of the stones are now located on Black Otter Trail.

Image size approximately 14 x 21.

Cothron & Todd Stable

Cothron & Todd, at 1st Avenue and 28th Street North, was one of the first liveries in Billings. A sign of changing times, Guy Stapleton & Son broke ground on Dec 8, 1904 for a large store, after clearing away the old Cothron & Todd stable. The growing Hart-Albin store (founded in 1902 at 2617 Montana) was to occupy the ground floor of this "monster building of four stories."

Image size approximately 14 x 21.
We've just taken in two beautiful, and quite rare, Clyde Aspevig original watercolor paintings of the Billings area.

Dated in 1976, Mr. Aspevig would have painted these around the time he graduated from what is now Rocky Mountain College.

For years an oil painter, Mr. Aspevig painted very few watercolor paintings, so these rare pieces represent not only a great value, but historic treasures as well.

We are pleased to offer these fine works of art ready to hang at $2,200 each.
