1. IAFI's Goals

• Support the Israeli academic community, which is the prime source of intellectual capital that drives the Israeli economy.

• Support international scientific meetings and medical conferences in Israel.

• Affirm that the principles of academic freedom and scientific inquiry transcend all international borders.

• Alert the public to efforts to boycott Israeli scientists; to do so, we rapidly and broadly disseminate accurate information by NewsFlash and lead action against such efforts.

• Organize academic freedom seminars to reinforce the core principles of
  free international scientific exchange.

• Foster cooperation among Israeli and Palestinian scientists through research fellowships for Israeli and Palestinian students.

• Promote worldwide understanding and appreciation of Israeli scientific and academic achievements.
