OSHA Shows That "$afety Pays"!

OSHA has introduced a new "$afety Pays" program specifically for small businesses. The program features an estimator for employers to project the cost of work injuries and illnesses, based on statistical data supplied from the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc. (NCCI).

The "$afety Pays" program helps business owners predict the direct and indirect impact of injuries and illnesses on their business. The estimator puts the costs into perspective by relating them to the estimated sales needed to counteract the losses. You can find the program online at www.osha.gov.
