One Family Annual Camping Trip
Greetings!

Good afternoon friend. I hope your day has been a great one!! I spent the morning at the high school getting my daughter registered for school ... which starts in just a short 11 days!! WOW! Time sure flies up here in the High Country during the summer...

It is such a magnificent day out today! I am in awe of our Creator God...and to imagine that He has created us in His image with the ability to create ourselves ... I'm not saying we are self sufficient/sustaining, but I am saying that we, as humans, have an innate ability to create ... whether it is in the arts, problem solving in the business world or finding ways to communicate and work with people ... do you realize that YOU are an amazing, creative person?! I love that about YOU!!

You are such a special person and I'm so thankful for you. I hope that you have a chance to start seeing yourself through His eyes today!

Shine on my special friend,

~Sam~

Welcome Back to Life!
Little Boy's Life Restored FULLY Jesus-Children
A few of you where a part of the beginning of this story when we first learned of the drowning and have been praying for almost a week over this little boy and his family. I want to personally say thank you from Jill and the family for your prayers and for standing and declaring life.

As many of you know, our sister Jill Serour is the director of the Women's Resource Center in Dillon. Jill works with a lady, Mary Blakely, who does the ultra sounds for the new moms at the resource center. Mary and Jill spoke last Thursday afternoon, and Mary told Jill that she had to leave that day for Texas to her son and daughter-in-law's home.

Earlier in the week, Mary's grandson had fallen into a pool (after climbing over a safety fence) and her daughter-in-law found him, not knowing how long he had been in there. She performed CPR until the EMTs arrived. Once they were there, they said he was dead, but they had to take him to the hospital because they can't officially pronounce death. They took him to the hospital where the doctors put him on life support.

He remained on life support for three days. Last Thursday was the day that the family had made the decision to take him off life support to see what happened. They were being told not to expect much, and that he would probably not be able to survive without the support.

The family's church members gathered and had been praying since the incident around the clock. As of Thursday, several of us here were praying and many other people around the world as the need was shared.

The boy was taken off life support and had a very weak heart beat. He lasted this way for three hours. Then all of a sudden he sat up and said, "I'm hungry. Can I have a Big Mac?" He was fine!! His vital signs were normal! The family, nurses and people watching just cried as they watched this miracle!!

We were declaring that not only he live, but his life be FULLY restored with no signs of issues or troubles from this incident. Before the accident, this little boy was very hyper, had a very weird fetish with water. He wouldn't or couldn't sleep through the night even though he was over 2 1/2 years old.

Today he is a NORMAL little boy, looking forward to tomorrow, Friday, when he celebrates his THIRD BIRTHDAY!! PRAISE JESUS!! He is a calm, playful little boy full of lifet!!

This week he is even starting swimming lessons has has no fear of water whatsoever!

The family is so thankful for the prayers and declarations over this little guy and they wanted to share the story with us, since we were a part of the prayer circle!
