Greetings from Sedona!
Winter is officially almost here. We've given thanks for the fall harvest, the food has been eaten or stored and the last of the crisp brown leaves are falling from the trees in most parts of the country.
There is a pause on the calendar now, before we go into the holiday season when we celebrate the gift of hope and the hope of peace everywhere for everyone.
This pause is a time of opportunity. We think of January as the time for new beginnings, new intentions and goal setting for the coming year. But before January arrives it is wise to reflect on the past year and spend some time acknowledging the challenges and tests that have appeared in our lives and the lessons taken from those experiences. This is the season for reflection.
- What have we learned this year and how will we use that new found knowledge in the next year?
- What has changed for us and how have we grown and allowed ourselves to be changed?
- What gifts have we acquired this year that we will take into the next on our leadership journey?
The articles included this month are more personal in nature as the season of reflection tends to be very intimate and soulful work for those on the journey of authentic leadership.
We are offering two retreats this winter and early spring. The offerings have changed slightly. To learn more about Wisdom Leader Retreats, click here for an overview. Descriptions of upcoming retreats are detailed in this newsletter.
If you are making a transition, marking an important chapter and/or acknowledging a significant passage, this may be the perfect resource for you. If you are a seeker hoping to clarify or expand your perspective of current circumstances or your place and purpose in life at this time, I hope you will join us.
I wish each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season and the beginnings of a happy new year!
Best,
Jamie
