New Standard Offset Motor Mounts for GIW LCC Pump Series
OBJECTIVE: The new offset motor mount design for GIW LCC pump series are easier to maintain and have additional stiffness to meet more stringent vibration standards.
SUMMARY: The mounts are to be drilled and tapped for different motor frames. For customers providing motor frame sizes or drawings (preferred), mounts can be pre-drilled and tapped prior to shipment. Old design mounts can be purchased as special order items until inventory quantities are diminished. It is recommend that old offset mounts only be supplied as replacements for existing applications. With only two adjustment rods and inherent self alignment, hinged designs are easier to maintain. New hinged designed mounts meet tighter vibration standards.
SCOPE: Entire LCC pump series is affected for pumps using offset overhead motor mounts.
