Freedom to be a Winner 8 Times!

Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People As you read this, I'm getting ready for my Chicago book tour to make new friends and share my passion for raw food.  But that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about you, Dear Reader and your need for FREEDOM...from the high cost of living.  So I've got eight, count 'em 8, ways you can win a free signed copy of my new book.

You can enter all eight ways to maximize your chances by being a winner.  (Although you're already a winner if you're eating raw!)

The details of how you can win my new book are all here in my July 16th blog post
(Please note that this giveaway is open to US addresses only.)

But the winning doesn't stop there!

If you act quickly to order my book, and are one of the first 10 people to review Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People Revised on Amazon.com, you'll receive a personal thank you call from me to chat about raw food.  We can talk about the best way to identify ripe produce, ways to turn raw food into party food, tips for making raw food kid-friendly, or anything you like.
The final step -- and this is critical - is to inform me via email at learnrawfood@gmail.com which of the first ten reviews you've posted.  Then I can contact you in return and set a time for us to chat.

Winning isn't everything, but it sure is fun!

Freedom From the Printed Page

Raw food sure comes to life when you see it in photos. And my raw food recipes will really spring to life when you watch them in real time on my YouTube video channel.  In addition to the videos that are currently posted, I've created 40 new raw-food-with-Jenny videos.  Many of them feature recipes from Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People Revised.

I'll post a new video each week starting in September, so you can be sure to watch and then try some of my new recipes including my recent favorite Chocolate Green Smoothie.

I'm enthusiastic about all the new recipes I've developed, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten any of my original favorites.  All the 'oldies but goodies' from the original Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People are in the revised edition including one of my standbys:  Zucchini Pasta.

Zucchini Noodles are lighter and more nutritious than flour noodles.  They're also extremely versatile. You can dress them in a raw tomato sauce for an Italian supper.  Put the noodles in a bowl of gently warmed miso broth to create an Asian ramen noodle bowl.  Or let them marinate in a little bit of dressing and turn them into a salad topper.

If you enjoy in-person learning and live in the Chicago area, please visit my website and get the dates for my book tour.  It's free to attend and no reservations are necessary. Just drop in for an evening of raw food information...and samples!

 Freedom From Mid-Morning Slump

Would you like to get the most of your morning with long-lasting energy that doesn't desert you before lunchtime?  Unfortunately, the typical American breakfast - coffee and carbs (in the form of muffins, bagels, croissants, etc.) - gives you a rush, but it's followed by the THUD of a sugar- and caffeine-induced crash.

That's why I often make Green Smoothies for my first meal of the day.  They pack a nutritional wallop along with outstanding flavor because dark green vegetables such as kale and collards contribute concentrated sources of protein, minerals, and phytonutrients while fruit contributes concentrated sources of deliciousness.

Oddly, despite a growing interest in low-calorie, high-nutrition Green Smoothies, they still are not easy to find in juice bars or coffee shops. So in response to the tremendous popularity of this healthy drinkable meal, Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People Revised includes an entire chapter devoted to the secrets of preparing a nutritious, but also taste-pleasing smoothie at home.

It might surprise you to know that commercial smoothies, even the ones sold at so-called 'health bars,' often contain ingredients that you would probably rather avoid.  As well as large amounts of highly addictive sugar and caffeine, they often contain dairy fat.  My creamy and satisfying smoothies, on the other hand, are totally vegan and natural.  They're made with nothing but fresh fruits, leafy greens, and water.

Sold on smoothies?  If so, then I'd like to offer you a free ebook on green smoothies.  By simply liking me on facebook, you'll get access to an instant download that contains wonderful drinks you can enjoy as a meal or snack.

That's it for now.  Remember, even when I'm on the road, I'm always connected to the Internet.  So be sure to visit learnrawfood.com often to see what's new and what's happening.  You never know what else may be popping up...like those 24 new YouTube videos that I'll begin to upload the first week in September.

See you then!

 California Rolls Go Kiwi
I love to travel and think of myself as a citizen of the world.  But even when I can't travel, it's wonderful that the Internet allows me to share my love of raw food with people around the globe.

'Kiwis' is a term that New Zealander's affectionately use refer to themselves in honor of the kiwi bird that is native to their country.  Kiwifruit is a native New Zealander, too, and an ingredient I feature in many of my recipes.  But it was my vegan California Roll recipe that caught the attention of Living Foods & Natural Lifestyle magazine.
Living Foods & Natural Lifestyle is a new digital magazine for people who love healthy living and fresh organic foods. It's published bimonthly and distributed electronically around the globe as a tool for promoting a vegan and healthy foods lifestyle.

California Rolls make stunning appetizers at any party and satisfying
sandwich substitutes for lunch.  Once you master the technique, you'll be rolling like a pro.  I demonstrate the art of sushi rolling and show you how to use a sushi mat to create perfectly shaped rolls in a two-part video in my YouTube library.
And for my recommendation for a great bamboo sushi mat that simplifies making rolls, click here.
