Sam and Scott | Meet our Interns. FieldView is very fortunate this summer to welcome two outstanding interns to our team. Samantha Massa comes to us from George Mason University (Go Patriots) and Scott Bagonyi from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies). Sam has become a vital part of the sales and marketing departments, while Scott has been contributing his skills to the operations and strategy groups. We'd like to thank them both, and wish them the best of luck as they continue their studies. We'll miss you. Come back and visit any time!

New data center guidelines released.
Recently, an industry task force released standards on how to measure and report energy usage in a data center. This is important so that metrics are consistent across the industry. The report will have a profound effect on how data centers are managed and energy is accounted for.
The document is available at 7x24Exchange. Our own David Schirmacher, CSO of FieldView Solutions and Vice President of 7x24 Exchange was part of the industry leadership that developed the standards, and represented 7x24 in that group. David also continues on the task force to address future issues, so he's got first-hand knowledge of the process and results.

Ask Fred, Our CEO
Q: My data center equipment is older. Can FieldView still help?
A: An emphatic YES. If you've got legacy equipment that needs monitoring, we can help. Because FieldView is non-proprietary and vendor-neutral, retrofitting has proven very successful. FieldView is able to work with the systems you already have, regardless of manufacturer or communications protocols. We can seamlessly integrate, no matter what language your equipment is speaking.
And now, wireless sensors are making the whole process easier.
We've already successfully deployed hundreds of panels and thousands of circuits with legacy equipment, so it's a proven system.
So if your data center equipment is aging, don't assume there's no help. Call us. We'll have you looking at real-time views of all your critical systems before you can say PUE.

Survey Says: FieldView Saves Energy and More.
Isn't it nice when research backs up what you knew all along? A recently completed and soon to be released white paper indicates that FieldView software not only helps its users save energy in their data centers, but it also eases deployment of new equipment, reduces risks of expensive downtime, closes the gap between the IT and Facilities personnel, and can delay or eliminate the need for expansion or new construction.
Thanks to all our clients who said such wonderful things about us and our products. We knew we had developed a vital, unique software platform, but to hear such rave reviews from our customers is especially gratifying.
Results to be released soon!
