April 25-27, 2013 is the date of our conference - Earth Matters. This conference will develop communities of practice in environmental education and we will celebrate, share, learn, plan, and commit to action.

Our Keynotes
  • Richard Louv's bestselling book Last Child in the Woods, sparked a debate that spawned an international movement to reconnect kids and nature.
  • Etienne Wenger-Trayner coined the term Communities of Practice and is an expert in creating successful, productive and innovative learning communities.

Outdoor Leadership Two Day Course

ACEE is supporting the delivery of this course by the Outdoor Council of Canada October 20 and 21. 

 

This course is suitable for anyone wanting to lead outdoor daytrips with students, familes, or adults in simple terrain or conditions. It also makes a great first step toward becoming an OCC LL1 Instructor.

Growing Your Roots: Social Media and Environmental Education - Webinar
