We had inspiring applications for the leadership clinic this year! Thanks to everyone who submited. The 9 teams chosen come from schools, municipalities and non-profits. See the list of teams and the goals they plan on tackling at the clinic.

Create a Community that will learn and grow together to advance environmental education Alberta.

   

The first two Communities of Practice to be launched this fall will be Water Education and Energy and Climate Change Education.

NAAEE Conference in October

The North American Association for Environmental Education hosts an annual conference. This year it is in Oakland California October 9-13 with the theme: Gaining Perspective: Seeing EE Through Different Lenses.

It is a great opportunity to meet environmental educators from across North America. ACEE has always found great value in attending and we have made connections that support our work throughout the year.

Environment + Drama = Fun and Learning        

Canmore Collegiate High School drama students invaded the Banff Elementary School to put on a play about the problem of invasive plant species in Alberta.

Bow Valley Provincial Park worked with Canmore high school students to put on the show. Read more about the partnership in this article from the Canmore Leader.
