EcoLeaders Conference - Calgary
The City of Calgary is hosting this one day conference for students in grades 9-11 on May 6. The focus is on developing skills to translate passion for the environment into action. Canada's Next Green Journalist - Student Contest
This contest, coordinated in Canada by Environmental Defense, is looking for inspired stories, photos and videos about local environmental issues from 12-18 year olds.
Prizes include a digital camera, a pocket camcorder, a laptop, cash for your school and an chance to compete with students from 15 other countries to be published in an international publication.
