 INSPIRED EDUCATION
Featuring: Colin Starkevich and his EE mentors
Ms Savella and Robert Bateman

ACEE Leadership Clinic Photograph
Alberta's Colin Starkevich with his
art teacher Ms Savella and Robert Bateman, who awarded him top honours for
his great horned owl painting in the
Get to Know You Art Contest.

"My art teacher made me realize that by keeping my chin up I really can do great things and meet great people. Mr. Bateman never gives up and keeps going strong at 80 years...and I think we can all see how he is making a difference with his art now. I started learning species of waterfowl in the slough near my house. At 17, I started volunteering at the Strathcona Raptor Shelter where I learned everything I know about hawks!"

We want to be INSPIRED by the efforts of Alberta's Environmental Educators. Tell us who has inspired you to MOVE TO ACTION!
Send your inspired thoughts in one paragraph or less to info@abcee.org.
