2007 Canals & Munne Insuperable Brut Gran Reserva
40% Macabeu, 30% Xarel*lo and 30% Parellada. In light of its aging, this cava is an excellent value for the money. 25 months. Brut (Reserva). Pale yellow in color, with fine bubbles forming multiple strings of pearls and persistent rings on the glass. Pleasantly fresh, floral and varietal aroma. Brut: Aperitifs, smoked meats, Iberian cured meats, green salads, vegetables, fish, poultry and desserts. The rich, mouth-filling Insuperable Brut Reserva is one of the better cavas we've tasted - it has been on the lees for 25 months. It shows light honey biscuit aromas on the nose and offers a fine mousse and clean palate of brioche, citrus, and almond flavors. Great value!

2010 San Dionisio Santonegro
85% Macabeo, 15% Airen. Co-op wine, Albacete, Spain. Bodegas San Dionisio Soc. is a cooperative founded in 1957, located in the town of Fuenteálamo, Albacete, Castilla la Mancha. White tree fruit of pear and apple, white floral nose. Pretty acidity and freshness. Lingering finish. Clean and light. Macabeo - The most popular light-skinned grape of northern Spain. High in production, the Macabeo takes well to hot and dry regions. It also buds late which makes it less likely to be harmed by frost. Together with the varietals Parellada and Xarel-lo it is used in the production of the sparkling Spanish wine Cava. Wines from the Macabeo grape are dry, medium in acidity, and have notes of delicate wildflowers and bitter almonds. Macabeo is best consumed young. Airen - The most widely planted grape in the world, Airén owes its popularity more to its high productivity and resistance to drought than to any distinguishing flavors or aromas. An extremely vigorous grape, Airén grows in almost every wine producing region in the world. It is quite resistant to heat and lack of water, and will adapt to almost any soil type. It has very neutral aromas and flavors, with hints of citrus, green apples and nuts. Airén is best consumed as fresh as possible.

2010 Fuentespina Rosado
The Ribera del Duero is blessed by a combination of terroir, microclimate and a native grape that gives superb, complex red wines. At this altitude Tempranillo gives thin-skinned and refreshingly acid fruit, which in turn gives wines that are delicious young, like this rosé. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks between for 10 days. Precious red berry color, clean and bright. Aromas of great intensity fresh fruit and red berries. On the palate is fresh, full and with a pleasant finish. Fishes, white meat and rice dishes. Great with Paella.

2010 Seis Circles Red
This red wine has been created from a unique blend of Tempranillo, Grenache and Syrah grapes, Harvested from age-old vines in high-altitude vineyards due south of the Pyrenees. Combined with a dry Mediterranean climate, long hours of sunshine, stony soils and a privileged location in northern Spain, all the essential ingredients have been found for wines full of character and quality. The result is an intensely fruity, smooth and full-bodied wine, typified by aromas of blackberries, blueberries and cassis, and with a slightly peppery finish. This wine is soft enough to be enjoyed on its own, but also makes an ideal accompaniment to red meat and other hearty food. 50% Tempranillo, 40% Grenache, 10% Syrah.
