Left Coast Lat 45 08 - 27.57 - Firm, classic vintage Oregon - orange & spice & cherry. Brambly, smoke, earth. Lengthy. Small production.

 

L Jacob Bourg R HCdB 07 - Going - 25.97 - Great vintage, unavailable elsewhere - the last. Bright, wants food, tight structure. Red fruit.

 

Dom Maubernard Bandol 7 - 25.97 - Built to last from a great vintage. Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault. Currant, spice, earth. Supple tannins

 

Kir Yianni Ramnista Xino 07 - 25.97 - AOC Naoussa Greek red - Bright acid, robust, lengthy. Concentrated fruit w/ tapenade & truffle. Great.

 

Woodinville Little Bear 07 - 25.97 - Washington - Long French Oak aging for the $ - blackberry, violet. Cassis / cherry. Smooth , drinking.

Trimbach Riesling FE VendTard 01 .375 - 25.57 - Significant discount - honeysuckle, poached pear, brown sugar, marmalade, very pretty. Ripe.

 

Trimbach Gerwurz VT 01 .375 - 25.57 -Candied stone fruit, orange peel, other citrus, nuts, honey, spices. Acidity, will drink another decade

 

Jackson Triggs Vidal 07 - 187ml - 25.57 - Canadian Icewine, tropical fruit flavors, fine acidity, balanced. Long, silky finish. Peachy.

Falanghina 2010

Pale yellow color. Offers a rich and intense aroma of fruit with hints of apple, pineapple, quince and pear. It is fresh and clean in the mouth with excellent acidity, good structure and a floral finish. A wine for the whole meal equally at home with hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish dishes, cold dishes, buffalo mozzarella and fresh cheeses. Very limited quantity, we are about to go into the 2011 vintage.

Greco di Tufo 2011 

Pale-medium gold reflections with a rich and powerfully aromatic nose of apricot, apple, peach and citrus fruits. On the palate it is full bodied, soft and well balanced with excellent acidity. It improves with age. It is ideal with hors d'oeuvres, shellfish, grilled fish dishes, buffalo mozzarella, chicken and cold meat.

Fiano de Avellino 2010

Medium gold with subtle notes of mature fruit and flowers with hints of pear, apricot, citrus fruits, toasted hazelnuts, acacia, hawthorn and honey. It is persistent and aromatic and will reward a few years' cellaring. Ideal as an aperitif with oysters, seafood salad, shellfish and haute cuisine fish dishes.

Aglianico 2010

Intense ruby red with violet reflections, it shows black cherry, wild blackberry and plum fruit flavors with a spicy, toasted overtone. Soft and elegant, it is surprisingly long in the mouth with notes of mature red fruits and displays the structure necessary for long aging. Ideal with soups, even those which are meat based, cold cuts, white and red meat, roasted or boiled and mature cheeses.

Taurasi 2006 

Intense ruby color with garnet reflections, pronounced and complex bouquet with hints of cherry, fruits of the forest, spicy scents of violet and tobacco and a suggestion of minerals. Elegant, smooth, velvety and intense it displays characteristic hints of plums, black cherries, black pepper and tar. It is full bodied and austere on the palate with balanced tannins and acidity. It will continue to age and develop for more than a decade. It is an excellent accompaniment for roast meat, game, spicy dishes, truffles and mature cheeses such as seasoned provolone, parmesan or gorgonzola.
