Friday's Lineup

Greetings!

This Friday we welcome 31 Degrees South, an importer based right here in Austin.  They specialize mostly in wines from South America, but are expanding their portfolio into other wine growing regions.  Three wines from Argentina will be featured, as well as a new tasty Tempranillo from Spain.  We will also have acoustic music from Texas Friendly from 6pm - 8pm.  For more information, see below.

These emails are archived on the website; they can be accessed through the "current and past newsletters" link at www.eastendwinesatx.com. The weekly wine update is also tweeted, so if you are interested, you can follow us through the link below.

2009 7 Lunas Torrontes

Tomas Achaval - Jasmine floral notes, with peach fruit, pretty full body, with some pear. Pretty rich version of Torrontes. Fresh. The 7 Lunas Wines are recognition to the impact that the moon has in nature and our lives. "Seven are the moons that need to pass since the vine buds start blooming at the beginning of spring up to harvesting time, in the early autumn, the most important time; the one that determines the wine quality."  The wines are crafted with grapes from Uco Valley vineyards that Tomas Achaval controls and works since 2002.
