2009 Bethel Heights Pinot Gris
5 vineyards. Source 18%. Ben now winemaker. Tasty goodness - bright & crisp. Tangerine & mineral nose. Peachy, dry, more reserved. Pear, apple, & melon flavors. Some honey & weight. Great pair with lightly spiced Thai, richer fish, or a fruit & cheese platter with almonds, hazelnuts, dried fruit. Cool fermentation, stainless steel. Inhibited malolactic to maintain acidity.

2009 Argyle Pinot Noir
The aroma is surprisingly robust. Look for dark fruit aromatics like black berry, black cherry with nice Spice Route spicy complexity. The flavor is rich and robust as well. Black cherry folds nicely into lovely fresh earth on the middle palate. The ending is ripe black cherry and plum fruited.

2008 Duck Pond Cellars Blend
Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec. Round, candied. Tannic. Rich & ripe. Tasty. Lengthy. I rate it very highly, especially for the price. The wine is intensely layered with dark fruit, oak and spice on the nose. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, cassis, mocha and vanilla are balanced by velvety tannins, ending in a long finish. The Red Blend is a full-bodied wine yet soft wine that pairs well with hearty dishes.
