Greetings!
With the cooler weather teasing us this past week, its time to start thinking about bigger reds, and Australia has built a reputation on "in your face styles."  Tonight we will taste two full bodied reds from Australia, as well as a richer-style white wine and a bonus, lighter-bodied Pinot from Tasmania:

Heartland White - 07 - 10.97 - Verdelho, Semillon, Chardonnay. Lemony white tree fruit.

Heartland Red 08 - 10.97 - Shiraz, Cab, Dolcetto, Lagrein. Earthy blackcurrant / blueberry.

Woolundry Rd. Cab 08 - 11.97 - Savory blackberry, ripe tannins, leaf, balance, value.

Tamar Devil's Corner Pinot 08 - 16.27 - Plum & cherry, strawberry & spice. Light bodied.
