Feedback from June 1st Networking Event Focusing on The Life Sciences Convergent Landscape
On June 1st, over 80 individuals joined us at Nutter McClennen & Fish, in Boston despite the torrential weather outside, for an enjoyable evening to discuss trends and advances in how life sciences companies develop convergent technologies. We touched on how information technology is transforming how medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, and overall medical information is gathered, developed, and used. This area includes mobile apps which monitor health parameters, apps which segment user data to evaluate healthcare trends, home monitoring systems which improve patient care and access to medical information, systems which integrate various patient information, and bioinformatics platforms which enable patient stratification and analysis of complex relationships to further enable personalized medicine. Propel Careers Partners with AWIS Boston for Mentoring Connections
AWIS Boston is recruiting Mentees for their 2011-2012 MENTORING CIRCLE PROGRAM
This programs provides insights into career advice, advice on work environments, and tips to balance work and family.
What is an AWIS Mentoring Circle?
A Mentoring Circle is a group of 3-5 women scientists committed to meeting monthly to support one another with advice, encouragement and information. Each circle will be coordinated and aided by at least one experienced mentor and one connector.
Who will be in my circle?
The MASS AWIS mentoring committee will review submitted surveys and match you with a circle based on interest, career goals, geography and other factors.
How do I join the MASS AWIS Mentoring Circle Program as a mentee?
- You must be a MASS AWIS chapter member to participate.
