Ask your student to read!
"Every effort must be made in childhood to teach the young to use their own minds. For one thing is sure: If they don't make up their own minds, someone will do it for them.
E. Roosevelt

Greetings!

I appreciate the response from parents and students in dealing with the weather. Believe it or not, the students have not complained about coming to school a little later than normal.

Do you tweet?  MHS has a Twitter page.  It is most useful to those that use it on their phones.  A current MHS senior says, "it is great to wake up at 6:30 and know that you have a delayed start without getting out of bed".  Twitter is good for early notice as well as keeping parents and students linked in to "all things MHS and beyond".

Finally, I invite you to check out the new version of The Bulldog.  We have long had a student newspaper, but it has now moved online.  You can find it here.  It is easy to find on the web under www.midlandhighbulldog.com.  A special thanks goes out to senior Emma Wellen for helping to get the electronic version going.  The journalism class also has plans to put the newspaper on an app for the I-phone.

Sincerely,

Jeff Horner

Principal
