Please take some time to sign up for online grades through Gradespeed and to review your students attendance. Through Gradespeed, you can email teachers directly. Attendance is now online through Gradespeed, so please use it to help us monitor your student's absences. Single period absences may indicate truancy, so pay particular attention to those.

| President to Address Students |
 In a letter to school principals from the United States Department of Education, President Barak Obama announced that on Tuesday,September 14, 2010, he will deliver his second national address to students on the importance of education. The address will be broadcast live on the White House Web site and made available to MISD campuses. Midland High School will go through Social Studies classes to show, in most cases, the delayed broadcast. Read on for more information. |

The goal for the ParentConnection is to create a better partnership between parents and teachers. Parents can use this feature to email, teachers, view current grades and view attendance.
