ATTENTION SENIORS: If you have been awarded a scholarship and would like to be recognized in the graduation program, please come by the counseling center and pick up a Scholarship information sheet and turn into the counseling center.


ATTENTION NHS SENIORS: will be able to purchase their red and gold cords the week of May 17th, NHS cords and collars will be ready for pick-up that same week. NHS service projects must be completed and dues paid by May 17th. Do not wait until the last minute or your parents may be sad! Anyone interested in running for NHS Officer come to room 216 for a packet of information elections will be held soon, if you have any questions come by room 216.

Mandatory Commencement Practice at Chap. Center (this is when seniors will receive their 8 admission tickets to Commencement))

 June 4, 2010- MHS Trophy Room
9:00 AM- Seniors that requested extra tickets will collect.  This is based on AVAILABILITY and requires the letter submitted to Mr. Horner's office by May 7th.  Extra tickets are limited to a maximum number determined by overall graduate numbers.

TEA
Texas Education Agency and The College Board have a signed agreement to provide a free SAT registration for any Texas 11th grader for either the May 1 or June 5 administration of the SAT.

AP Testing continues May 10  to May 14
 
Yearbooks are $70. Orders can be placed in room 208 or at jostens.com The deadline for orders is May 14, 2010.

ATTENTION JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES: If you plan on taking a PreAP/AP/ Honors level class, you must turn in a PreAP/AP/ Honors contract to the counseling center. If you don not turn in the PreAP/AP/ Honors contract you will be taking regular level classes.


ATTENTION JUNIORS: If you are interested in Texas Tech University, consider attending Red Raider Academy June 14-18, 2010. Learn about the admissions process, academic programs, and experience life on campus. This is a free trip and transportation will be provided. See Mrs. Hoover in the Counseling Center for more information.
