Relay for Life a Success Impact Jiu Jitsu raised $5,106 and logged hundreds of miles at the American Cancer Society's 2012 Relay for Life of Beaverton. Thank you to all the members, family and friends for their generous donations, and to everyone who came out and walked, ran and rolled during the 24 hour event.
A Few Highlights Michael Snook: "Ok one last relay recap status. So this year they did a competition for lap counts. Only four people to a team to make it fair. I was on one of the teams. Mine came in third, about 1.5 miles shy of second which made me proud. But what made me more proud was that the other team for Impact, the one with Michael Chapman and Brandon Trump,

Russell Tunes after sprinting lap 101!
| came in first... by a lot. They walked/ran 444 laps in 24 hours. And what I think made me proudest was that Michael Chapman blew away the competition by being the one person who did the most laps as an individual. He did 120... that's 30 miles people. And who came in second individually? His youngest son Ronan, with his other son Jack coming in two shy of Ronan. Their totals were 109 and 107 respectfully. Basically Team Impact killed it on distance! And that doesn't include the guys who were not on a team, like Russell Tunes who did 101 laps basically because he was bored in the middle of the night."
