Welcome!
So much happening this 2012! And visibly so! You will notice that the newsletter has a new look. This is inspired by several things:
Upgrade
We have upgraded the backdrop of the Spiritual Connections website in conjunction with the upgrade in earths frequencies. Did you know that the Spiritual Connections backdrop is painted specifically for this purpose and holds a vibration to support all those on the site at a high vibration and to help them raise this vibration through unity and alignment to their souls purpose? Find out more in the "Art Space" section below.
Space
We have also heard all those people who love the old version of the newsletter but find that it holds so much information and so much energy that it is quite a lot to receive at once. We have simplified the newsletter and put more space in it. This means you will need to click on the links to be redirected to the website in order to get all the juiciness usually included in the body of the newsletter.
Expansion Aloha Hawaii! Our Angel sets off for Hawaii today! She has made some heartfelt connections already and will return mid month to share with you all the amazing spiritual inspiration happening over there. We have energetically also connected to the crystal grid spanning the pacific and connecting on the heart and soul level with the people over there is part of this process. We are already a global network, but we now also have two hubs, the Central Coast and Kauai in Hawaii. You will notice Hawaii has its own Event Directory. Angel Review and Inspiration
February has been a month of fast pace and high activity, and this has definitely been reflected in the activity on the main networking site.
In particular there have been lots of fantastic blogs this month, so many it was hard to keep up with reading them all. If you're a product or service provider, writing a blog is the perfect way to create awareness of your offerings and events, share information and inspire other members. Last month also saw some been big local events happening on the NSW Central coast/Newcastle area, like Yoga Festival 2011 and Boddhi Festival, both dynamic and light-filled gatherings offering individuals and families a spiritually-nourishing way to enjoy their weekend time together.
Although February's pace was relentless at times, it does offer us a magical extra day this year, being a leap year. A day manifested out of thin air, to re-group, re-invigorate, and re-orient ourselves and our lives. The significance and 'gift' of this extra leap day came into my awareness at the beginning of the month, after I read an article by Sarah Grace, entitled 'The Gift'. Inspired by this writing, and curious as to how I would spend this leap day myself, I am now wonder-filled and joyous to say I'll be spending Leap Day this year of 2012 on a Hawaiian Airlines flight to magical, powerful, mystical Hawaii! (arriving at 10:10 no less- my magic number at the moment).
As Tracy mentioned earlier in this newsletter, this trip is part of something much, much larger, so although 'Lisa' will be happy as a pig-in-mud (or rather an angel-in-the-clouds) heading to Hula Land and enjoying an out-of-the blue holiday (created by some intense manifestation work by me by the way....aka daydreaming and desiring!), there is a beautiful, powerful and destined connection being forged between Australia and the Hawaiian Islands, and a lovely heart/soul connection for Spiritual Connections already well underway. This new connection and expansion also includes you!- as we are all one right?!...so hold on (or better yet let go!!)...and get set for the ride.
And may that ride be a joyful, fruitful and purely heart-centred one this month for you, and for your loved ones.

My spiritual journey really began when I turned 28(for all the astrologers out there, it was my Saturn return)
Of course before that I was often having tarot readings and loved all matters to do with the occult.
But when I started blowing things up! Lights kept flickering when I walked into a room, also thinking about changing the channel on the TV and that happening without me touching a button, I knew that I needed help.
Luckily for me help was at hand and I was taken under the wing by a beautiful lady called Allison.
Allison was a South African and has been in charge of the Spiritual Church in Johannesburg. She taught me all about protection, meditation, channeling and of course, tarot cards.
I studied with her for many years.
I have always studied and whenever I completed courses, instead of working in that modality, I would study something else.
It all made sense now.
It was time for me to help those searching for answers like I once was many years ago.
I have put together an 8 week Spiritual Awareness Course that allows me to ignite the spiritual spark within.
I teach at both Community colleges on the Central Coast and I also teach from my workroom at home, here at Woy Woy Bay.
I teach about the chakra system, auras, essential oils, feng-shui, past lives, healing and much more.
The students can ask anything they wish, and they feel comfortable enough to open up to.
I help students to strengthen their inner core, so that they can handle whatever life throws their way.
My class has been so successful that I have an Advanced Course covering, animal guides, astrology charts, chakra clearing and balancing, a full past life regression, meeting your Guardian Angel and Archangel.
My passion at the moment is my Celebrancy work.
I adore being a marriage celebrant and I feel honoured to do Life Celebrations too!
I look forward to connecting with people of like minds and was given direction and guidance to contact Spiritual Connections.

The Lemurian Age
The Lemurian Age took place approximately between the years 4,500,000 BC to about 12,000 years ago. Until the sinking of the continents of Lemuria and later of Atlantis, there were seven major continents on this planet. The lands belonging to the gigantic continent of Lemuria included lands now under the Pacific Ocean as well as Hawaii, the Easter Islands, the Fiji Islands, Australia and New Zealand. Also lands in the Indian Ocean and Madagascar. The Eastern coast of Lemuria also extended to California and part of British Columbia in Canada. For a very long time before the fall in consciousness, the Lemurians lived in a fifth dimensional frequency or dimension, and were able to switch back and forth from fifth to third at will, without any problem. It could be done whenever it was desired, by intension and the energies of the heart.
The Lemurian race was a mixture of beings that came mainly from Sirius, Alpha Centauri and a smaller number of them from other planets as well. Eventually, as these races mixed together on Earth, they formed the Lemurian civilization. To say the least, it was quite an awesome mixture. Lemuria was really the cradle of civilization on this planet, the "Motherland" who assisted in the eventual birth of many other civilizations. Atlantis came about at a later time. Atlantis Portal Painting
Did you ever wonder why this painting is the backdrop of Spiritual Connections? This painting was channelled for the purpose of holding an energetic space for the Spiritual Connections website and anywhere that its logo is placed. It undergoes an upgrade of energy (and image) as the earths energies ascend. The painting and backdrop was upgraded again last week. It has now had 5 upgrades since 2009, each upgrade has a specific purpose as Spiritual Connections brings in the next part of its intention.The spiritual Connections Intention is:
To provide a place for those people on a spiritual path to connect to each other... and for those people living in alignment to their life's purpose, those that are discovering... or have found ...what their unique gifts are....what it is that they uniquely bring to the world (the specific essence and frequency that they bring) that other people need to connect to .... that can inspire other people and open their minds to the possibilities that they havent even considered yet. To raise the vibration of each other and the collective through connecting to and inspiring each other in alignment to our unique and collective soul purpose. The 6th Upgrade Includes Hawaii
The latest upgrade included an anchoring into the earthly realm (water) of a Crystal located under the earth in Hawaii. It anchors the platinum ray (Divine Feminine) whilst the Central Coast Crystal anchors the golden ray. There were two crystals anchored in the last upgrade, one is on Kauai and the other on Maui. The overall progression of paintings is the ascension of the planet and healing of the Atlantis rift between dimensions (also connected to the Avalon disconnection). The painitng below is the incomplete next upgrade currently in progress, where the pacific dolphins are bridging the gap and leading the way between dimesnions. We have almost cleared the rift. You can see the higher dimensional reality as the more prominent one and are begining to see what life will be like. Stay tuned...

 Fame And Reputation
Do you ever wonder how the Fame & Reputation Sector looks in the homes of movie stars or politicians?
Our home and office is a reflection of our life. I would say we find out very soon who has the better Feng Shui in this area.
It has been predicted by many Astrologers and Numerologists, that 2012 and onward will bring everything to the surface. So my recommendation is to clean up the Fame and Reputation Sectors in home and business. If this stirs up some issues within and around you it is best to deal with it and create a clean slate. Avoiding these issues will have its repercussions within the family, with friends, in business and in politics.
This is a general guideline to find the Fame & Reputation sector of you home/office. This sector is always inside the front door is.
Recommendations - make sure there is much light in this area decorate it with lush plants or flowers. If you can add some red items like a red chair, red floor matt or art work with much red in it, this could further your fame in your chosen field of expertise.

INTUITIVE HERBAL ALCHEMY REVIEW
On Wednesday night, Nikki and MaYanya were thrilled to host an evening of "intuitive remembering" at the
Happy Herb Shop, Erina. We had a great turnout with 16 present, coming from all walks of life. Our intent was to enable those present to attune themselves" to the frequencies of the herbs that were chosen for the night (or rather, the herbs that chose us) in order to receive the direct wisdom that was flowing from the herb, and to learn how the herb was attempting to connect and communicate. The experiences of all those present (facilitators included) far exceeded any expectations that we might have had.
We told the group that they were as much the teachers for the evening as we were, as the intuitive alchemy of remembering was going to come through all of us; Each of us was an integral puzzle piece, and sharing the wisdom that each received, we were able to piece together a beautiful and informative connection with the wisdom of nature, and ourselves.
The first thing to do was to connect the group frequency through "going in" and setting the intent to attune. Our first herb (uva ursi) was presented for a "blind tasting, smelling and feeling" and the magic began to flow. We learned that the intuitive nature of the herb will access any one of, or all of the 7 bodies (physical, mental, spiritual, auric, higher mental, emotional and cosmic) and the herbs asked questions that came intuitively through the facilitators in order to "personalise" the experience. Questions such as "do you remember me? Do you remember standing with me and receiving these messages, long ago, in the garden. Do you have a question for me? Where do you feel me in the body? Am I colour inside you? What physical sensations are you feeling, and so forth....
The second herb, (cleavers) surprised us by taking us out of our bodies and expanding our consciousness. One of the women present called it "the traveller" as we all felt that we had expanded energy fields and had left our bodies, yet were still there in the room. Our heads became fuzzy, our vision was affected and intuitive "downloads of information from this ancient friend" flowed fast and steady. The third herb, (Liquorice root), settled us back in, opening the third eye of many there, and also working quickly and intensely with bronchial and muscular problems in individuals. The alchemy of the 3 herbs in the body seemed to create such an amplified effect in us all, that it was as though the herbs were on a mission to "get their messages across" in an intensely experiential way.
It was literally "seeing and feeling to believe it". Our endocrine systems were beautifully adjusted with the Cleavers and the group was shown how to facilitate the distribution for the "glandular upgrade" by tapping the thymus and asking the body to balance and distribute through the gland. Communicating with the body intelligence in this way was a first for many present and formed another important "attunement" to the remembering that was coming through us all. The immediate effect of symptoms clearing, frequency running through the body, rapid temperature changes from heat to cold, pressure being alleviated from behind the eyes, chest and shoulders and relief settling in the body, was both surprising and enlightening for many of those present who were experiencing intense physical symptoms.
We repeated the process with three essential oils and though we had a milder body experience, the effects were there just the same.
Everyone felt that the evening had been a huge success and for the first time, we were seeing the absolute joy in the individuals present as they experienced their own "communion" with the herbs in a uniquely personal and experiential way. How exciting to be in direct communion with these amazing "beings" that are here to enable us in our physical bodies, and it seems also give us other experiences in the other 6 energetic bodies that surround us.
Our 6 week course begins in two weeks, and we are just about jumping out of our skins to see what will arrive for us to "remember" and attune to. We sincerely hope that you can join us.

Highly Sensitive People- HSP's
A highly sensitive person feels and perceives the world much more acutely than others. It is not as unusual as you may think to be highly sensitive, constituing 20% of the population of the planet. Another 22% of the population is moderately sensitive. As we progress in our spiritual evolution, we become more sensitive and as we raise in vibration, the lower vibrational emotions and intentions become disharmonious for us. We also become more sensitive as we age. Society is set up to understand and cater to the remaining population (approx 80%) and do not have an understanding of the evolutionary need for the HSP's and how their gifts can be harnessed. Many children are being born highly evolved and very sensitive.
A HSP is highly attuned and takes in information unfiltered. They need environment of low stimulation for their gifts to emerge. T hey may appear more anxious or neurotic because the autonic nervous system is more easily aroused. Those who are overstimulated and therefore overwhelmed may have depression and fatigue. If they are able to work through their previous accumulated traumas and are enabled to discover their gifts, this will not occur and they will be empowered and inspired. They tend to be conscientious and try their best. They are very creative, fast learners and are here to lead the world forward as they know the way.
In general HSPs have a low pain threshold and are highly effected by others pain and suffering. They have a higher response to medications, vitamins, herbs or anything they ingest or come into even energetic contact with and it would really be better that only energy healing is used if possible. If they must have some form of medication, the doses should be reduced.
There are different types of HSPs (ref Elaine Aron):
Social novelty
*Low threshold- slow to warm up, notices subtleties
*Complexity- more hesitant with less familiarity, doesn't like large groups
*Intensity- doesn't like to be centre of attention, meeting new people at same time, questioned by a stranger.
Emotional
*Low threshold- picks up on the moods of others, good with animals, plants
*Complexity- insights about people, complex vivid dreams.
*Intensity- cries easily, deeply upset by anothers suffering.
Physical *Low threshold- fabrics, rough socks, tags, notices soft sounds, subtle scents *Complexity- doesn't like crowds or bustling places, doesn't like foods mixed or seasonings *Intensity- reacts more to pain, bothered by noise Novelty *Low threshold- notices small changes in room or clothing, prefers little or gradual changes. *Complexity- doesn't need or like new things happening, dreads major change *Intensity- doesn't like surprises, being startled, sudden change, hesitant in new environments.
