Singles Mingle is a casual event for those who are spiritual and single to get together and socialise. It is designed to be lighthearted and social. Members can bring a friend as long as they are single. If you are single and have not yet joined the Spiritual Singles interest group- do so now by clicking here.
 Conscious Connections is a social gathering for everyone, attached or single, who would like to meet other like minded people for lighthearted conversation and socialising. This month- Join us at The Footnote in Copabana for a Salsa Evening on the 3rd Friday of the Month- 17th February. Click here to join the group and here to attend the event.
Woy Woy Art Market on the 2nd Sunday of every month. You will find art products for sale from various members of Spiritual Connections. It is located on the foreshore at Woy Woy.
The new Awake and Unite Event will be occurring in unison with the Art Market spanning the Gnostic Forest Speakers area, The Clearing Healers (Wellbeing) Circle and the Spiritual Connections Art Stand at the market. Look forward to seeing you there.
New Event!! Awake and Unite!!- The Awake and Unite Days are a collaboration (unity) of Spiritual Connections and Eartheart to combine all the elements you require for your spiritual upliftment and evolvement in the one place. You can taste a variety of different healing modalities, listen to local and national speakers and meet other like-minded people.
It occurs on the 2nd Sunday of every month, starting 12th March at The Clearing in Woy Woy, Central Coast NSW. Check out the calendar for specific themes of each Happening Event.
Wellbeing Circle (previously called the "Healing Day") on the 4th Sunday of the month. A variety of spiritual connections members will be available to provide a 20 minute sample of their modality/therapy for $20 a sample. Come along and try out the different healing styles available. Well it has been an exciting start to the new year! These photographs were taken by Bianca (Fixx Events) of Savitri Eartheart peforming "Ignite Your Spirit Healing" in the Wellbeing Cirlce at Avoca Market this Month...certainly looks like ignited spirit to me.

This month we are getting ready for the new event "Awake and Unite" which brings together our healers (Wellbeing Circle), products, speakers all into the same place and also provides a social gathering over food. We are very excited. We will be bringing in a high profile speaker for each themed event, so stay tuned for more info. Our Conscious Connections and Singles Mingle have now separated out into 2 events. This month Conscious Connections (everybody) will be a salsa night including food, beverages and dancing (if you fancy). As Spiritual Connections expands in numbers of members, it is also expanding globally. We endeavour to run Spiritual Connections events in areas other than the Central Coast. Lisa's Spot
This month, I attended my first Mosaic Class....inspired by Susan Gibson's amazing mermaid surfboard mosaic I saw at the last SCCC Market Stall, which left me absolutely needing to know and learn how to do that!!!
 Run by Spiritual Connections member, Susan Gibson (click here to check out her page), the class was informal, fun, flowing and held in a beautiful workshop space at Susan's home in Umina. Having never done Mosaics before, I went without any expectations, very aware that I am prone to throw a tantrum and quit if I cannot pick up something straight away. For this class (which I had eagerly waited all holidays for!!), I was determined to leave my critical inner parent at my front door and to let my inner child just come out and do as they pleased. My only intention was to allow myself to learn something new, with no pressure or judgement, and just BE in the moment and enjoy the process...to feel my creative juices flowing again, using a new medium full of new possibilities, and perhaps meet some interesting new people along the way. Over a cup of tea in Susan's charismatic and quirky workshop, we listened to a delightfully easy-to-understand and very inspiring introduction to the mosaic-making process and the tools used in it, whilst each of us tried as best we could not to break out with questions and just launch ourselves into the process (well, I know I found it hard to keep a lid on my enthusiasm!).  An hour into the evening (classes run 7:30-10:000pm), I was busily working on my own mosaic piece, gluing down gorgeous blue-toned tiles onto a beautifully carved wood dolphin, provided by Susan (along with all the safety gear, tools, tiles and anything else needed to complete a finished mosaic).
When the clock struck 10, I felt like I imagine Cinderella might have when she needed to return to her coach/pumpkin, and I reluctantly packed up my mosaic piece, which was very well on the way to being complete. After booking into next weeks' class, I jumped in my car and somehow made it home amidst a swirling vortex of all things mosaic, already planning in my imagination the construction of my own workshop ( and yes!- it absolutely MUST have a magical kettle like Sue's: one thats always boiled...AKA a hot water urn-). That night before bed, I thanked myself for making the time to follow my heart-based desire and feed my creative self; for making my own creative life a priority. I also thanked Sue for her inspiration, generosity and guidance, and of course the universe, for providing me with the perfect creative outlet for my own unique self. Celebrate It In A Spiritual Way!
Valentines Day often seems like a purely commercial celebration. In fact, some of the traditions now associated with the Day or Romance did start out as business promotions. Take diamonds: they weren't a common Valentines gift until the diamond industry hopped aboard the holiday in the 1980s.
If you're a person who finds it important to live a spiritual life, or if you're with your soul mate or your Twin Flame soulmate, it may seem daunting to add spiritual relevance to Cupid's festivities.
Here are six Valentines Day ideas for gifts and adventures that you can share with your partner. They're all designed to bring you to a deeper level of intimacy, open your hearts, support you in your self-development, and generally make Valentines Day a more meaningful experience.
- Instead of buying a material gift, why not share an intimate body-mind-soul experience with your soul mate? Many spas, massage therapists, and even yoga instructors will arrange a private couples session for you and your sweetheart.

There are so many aspects coming together in 2012. But what does it all mean in our day to daily reality? Here is the conclusion of my interpretation.
Having all these powerful energies coming in will create many changes, whether we call them good or bad, does depend very much on our personal evolution. Whatever we think and act upon, will manifest in a speedier way. This is a time to have creative thoughts, do business in an ethical way in way and clear any negative emotions as they block our intuitive creativeness. This is the time to take responsibility for creating what we want in life. We may accomplish anything effortlessly and will probably wonder why we haven't done so before.
Clearing mind and space is of extreme importance, as this is the only thing that can hold us back. This is the time of the Dragon which is grounded yet can fly. So take the time to connect to the Earth and take time to meditate and let your spirit fly and you will find yourself moving with this great energy that is guiding us into a new Golden Age.

Awake and Unite Event starting March: Starting on March 12th, "Awake and Unite, A Happening Event" will occur in the Woy Woy, Gnostic Forest area. There will be the New Wellbeing Circle at the "the Clearing" above the Gnostic Mana Cafe and a variety speakers all day long at the Gnostic Forest with a gathering over lunch for conscious conversation. There will be a different theme each month. The theme for March is "Spiritually Connecting". Spiritual Connections artists will have their art for sale at the Spiritual Connections stall at the art market and healings will be available in the healing tent (coming soon). The biggest clue is in the name.
When someone is giving a reading they are accessing information about the client by using their 3rd eye. You may have seen ancient Gods & Goddesses depicted with a vertical eye between their eyebrows. This is a way of describing this energy centre.
This energy centre in the Energy Body and is connected to the physical Pineal Gland located in the centre of the brain. It is actually a subtle-body eye used to see the subtle-bodies. Aura & astral. The reader literally looks at & reads the energy field of the client & is able to translate the information stored there in the form of thoughts, beliefs, experiences, hopes & dreams.

In the secret place of the turtle cave
The little fishes come to tell tales
To the ancient ones
The little fishes bring the knowledge of the keepers
To the keepers themselves
All is ancient wisdom
Becoming new again
In the secret place of the turtle cave
The little fishes ask for their own knowingness
To return
As the ancient ones peer out from behind
Their hooded eyes
Blinking with a certainty
That knows all
The little fishes, in their excitement
Dart away
And left there in the cave
The secret turtle cave
The ancient ones settle into this new knowledge
From the youngest amongst them
The little fishes have forgotten it all now
For it resides with the keepers of the secrets
This new wisdom that is ageless
As the sun and the moon
Tomorrow night, when the glow of the Venus star
Casts its spell upon the water
The little fishes will fly on their underwater wings
To tell the ancient ones
Of this new wonder
They will be greeted with gentle nods

And deep grumblings

It is a common event to see people striving to be the best at the thing they hold in high esteem and measure themselves and others against that, be that beauty, success or wealth or just to be the best. Nobody can ever be as good as you at being you. There is only one you and you have unique gifts and a unique purpose that you brought with you into this life. The purpose is not in what you do, but in being who you are. When you are measuring yourself by your own truth and integrity, you will uncover those gifts and life will unfurl its splendor for you.
By listening to the messages from your own soul you bypass the learnt values and desires to find a true treasure. The treasure is yourself. When you check in with yourself in every moment...Do I really want to do that? Does that feel like the right path? You will begin to get clearer messages from your soul and find that life flows for you.
Your feelings or senses become a barometer for your life as you learn to listen to yourself and know yourself better. You begin to trust your messages and find that you are always delivered where you need to be and where you are needed. You recognise when you are not on track, or not following the guidance of your heart, because it doesn't feel right.
When you have a strong emotional or physical reaction, or the feeling is not right, it becomes an alarm to regroup, centre and look at why this situation is occurring, there is reason that you have chosen it, and take the growth from it. By accepting and trusting the experience, your response is altered and miraculous solutions appear. Having a clear intention facilitates this growth.
When you are able to listen to your true self in every moment, you will bump into the person you needed to or be reminded of someone that is the key to your next step. Our mind may think that we want to go for coffee with our best friend and after all this is what we planned and it is a beautiful day, but...when you check in...you discover that you really want to sit in your garden and play with your dogs. In doing that, you were home to receive that important phone call. In situations where our beliefs or patterning are strong, we often forget to check in. A food substance may be widely believed to be good for us, such as honey,but when you check in, your body doesn't want it.
With this new found trust you have in yourself, you begin to trust your environment, and your world, as not only do miracles occur regularly but you recognise that you are always where you are meant to be. That job you dislike alters because you can see the gifts you bring. Where you have felt you needed to do the job exceedingly well, you may realise that your presence, your specific vibration even, is enhancing the workplace or project even if you don't do anything except be yourself. It may not be about the work you are doing, but the feeling of safety you create which increases staff happiness and productivity.
When we see ourselves for our gifts and accept our own beauty, we are able to accept our flaws as part of the package. Through that process, we are able to accept others unconditionally and allow them to unfold their unique gifts that brought them here, without needing to be like them or reject them for their flaws or competing with them.
After experiencing the joy of self-acceptance, it is easy to see when we are out of alignment. When we are living in alignment with our soul and life purpose, we naturally feel joy, and all needs are met as each individual life purpose complements all others. When all people are living joyously this way, there is true heaven on earth as all flows perfectly.
