- Singles Mingle on 17th December! Join us at The Haven in Terrigal for a BBQ. This is a casual event for those who are spiritual and single to get together and socialise. It is designed to be lightheart and social. Members can bring a friend as long as they are single. If you are single and have not yet joined the Spiritual Singles interest group- do so now by clicking here.

- Conscious Connections is combined with Singles Mingle above. After the success of the launch in October, we are continuing to combine this group with the Singles Mingle until the end of the year. This new group is for all people, single or attached who would like to meet other like minded people for lighthearted conversation and socialising. - Wellbeing Circle (previously called the "Healing Day") on 27th November. A variety of spiritual connections members will be available to provide a 20 minute sample of their modality/therapy for $10 a sample. Come along and try out the different healing styles available.

- Avoca Beachside Markets on 27th November, none in December. You will find us at the Spiritual Connections stand. We would love you to come and say Hi, you can bring your fliers and business cards if you would like to share. We will also be running talks from the stage and Wellbeing Circle, so look out for mailouts (you can change your preferences to receive event invites at the bottom of the page) or just come along.

This level of membership would suit you if you wish to use spiritual connections mainly to blog, connect with other members, share inspiration and make friends, find out about activities, events and services in your area, add events and display your products and services in interest groups and on your profile page. SpiritualPreneur Membership -
This membership level would suit anybody who has a spiritual product or service to offer. In addition to the above, this level of membership allows you to be found by category and area for those who are searching for what you do and also to access members who chose to receive mailouts specific to your service via our mailout service.
SCCC Maximise Membership -
This membership level would suit you if you have a product or service or run higher level spiritual business such as a Spiritual Centre/ Therapy Centre or school of learning/organisation, event organiser.

Welcome to the December Edition of the Spiritual Connections newsletter. We now have over 350 members on the interactive site (and additional members on facebook and receiving the newsletter). Below is an update of the changes promised in the last newsletter:
- The new Product and Service Directory will go live on the 1st December 2011- have a sneak peak by clicking the image below. SpiritualPreneurs and those who have purchased an annual listing, or won the blog competition can now log on to the directory and start adding their information. You will also find Therapy Centres, Spiritual Shops and Venues listed in the directory. Visitors can request an appointment with the practitioner straight from the directory or click on their facebook page or skype them if remote healing required.

- The Event Directory will also change further down the track. Recurring events will automatically generate themselves!
- We have rolled out the new Monday Mailouts of special offers and event invites. Hope all that received them got to enjoy them! So if you wish to receive special offers for healings, products, workshops etc, make sure you have ticked the right box in the mailing list (please review your selections here Update Profile/Email Address). If you have events/specials to offer- you can add them to the next weekly mailout here (or you can become a SpiritualPreneur member).

This is a place where they can find you and you can find those that you need to bring your gifts through for.

Wow! The website this month is an absolute hive of activity! So many new and wonderful events being added daily - this Angel has been delightfully busy keeping the event directory updated and it is looking really fabulous right now-such a dynamic and refreshing array of events currently on offer.
It is so wonderful to see all the wonderful spiritual service and product providers, both big and small, coming together and listing their offerings in the one place- so thank you to all you beautiful people who have taken the time to share your unique gifts and offerings on Spiritual Connections, so that those that need what you offer can find you quickly and easily. Spiritual Connections is now holding such an expansive, supportive energy, and is truly much much bigger than just the sum of its parts. I for one feel so blessed to be a part of such an incredible group of individuals, all living their truth and following their joy.
There's a few angel house-keeping things I did want to mention this month, and they are likely relevant to you so stay with me!-)...If you are adding events please watch the short instructional videos now available as there are new short-cuts for adding events, new ways to copy events to save you time, and also a list of the 'event type' tags for you to refer to when adding events (here). Also this month, there's a new Music feature so all you Spiritual music-makers, get adding your tunes so people can listen to your healing sounds whilst on the website. Lastly, I hope the 'How to Set Up your Page' helps those of you who are having trouble setting up or completing your page set up. There's still a few empty-looking pages on the website and it would be really great to find out some more about the members that have recently (or not so recently!) joined. So be brave, and have a go at setting up your page- this is a gathering place of like-minded people, so let us know who you are and what you do. If after watching the Page Set Up video you're still a little stuck, please send me an email and I can help you out.
As I already mentioned, there are so many fantastic events happening this month, so be sure to regularly check the directory and get your own events up there if you are an event organiser. In December we also have an exciting new event, the Woy Woy Art Market, where we will have both a stall and a Wellbeing Circle.

Lisa's Inspirational Article Pick! Creativity by Eckart Tolle Image submitted by Ferenc Szabó of Hungary. Eckhart on Creativity There's a particular dimension where creativity arises. It's a little bit like the wick burning the flame, and its sustenance is the oil - it's in an oil lamp, and you are the flame. All the analogies, by the way, are very deficient, but it's just a distant approximation to get you into a sense of what that place is. So you are the flame, and you feel your way into the very source - down the wick into where the oil is, inside yourself. That's the place, the source, so if anything is new, creative, then it has a fragrance of the source. Somehow, humans, even humans who are still very much identified with their mind, many of them are touched by when they see or hear or whatever - come into contact with - something that came out of that deeper level, whether it's a work of art, or a piece of music, or it could just be somebody talking. And the words come from that deeper level. It could just be somebody who has a good sense of humor - even that is already a form of creativity. Spontaneous humor is to suddenly see something that one wouldn't normally see - a connection between two seemingly unconnected things, and suddenly you connect them and everybody laughs. Some people have that. Some people have one small area in which they can be creative, and that can be enough to provide you with fulfillment and an income, for the rest of your life - and to contribute that gift to others. Great stand up comedians, for example, have that gift. Of course, not everything they say is spontaneous, but when they prepare their stuff, they have to be creative. Now I don't know if anybody here has tried to be a standup comedian, but it's difficult. Many people try. It's hard to be funny. But some have it, and it's amazing - those few that have that gift. And there too, the sense of humor is spontaneously something arises, and there it comes. It's being in touch with that. It's wonderful to be able to be in touch with that, and feel the power that flows from there, out into this world. Now for that, of course you need some kind of vehicle, because the power needs to flow into some kind of form. You can touch that place also, within, and it may not flow into creativity, because you have not developed a vehicle for it. The very same power that gives rise to creativity can also manifest itself in different ways that we would not call creativity. It could be a healing power that comes into effect the moment you enter into relationships with others. Healing in a wider sense, not just physical healing. You will not suddenly become a great musician if you have never touched an instrument, just because you touch that place within yourself. It's not going to manifest as a great scientific discovery in my case, because the vehicle is not prepared for that. My mind is not prepared for that. It doesn't even work that way. So for me to expect to come up with the Unified Field Theory that Einstein didn't come up with - he tried after the theory of relativity, he tried for the rest of his life to come up with that - I am not going to come up with that. It's very unlikely. The vehicle has not been prepared. I am not going to be a great pianist, because I don't know how to play the piano. So no matter how deeply I go within, it's not going to flow into that. You need to prepare the vehicle for creativity. More important than that is the place - to be able to go within to that place of vibrantly alive stillness, where creativity arises. And you can go in there, and if there's no vehicle, it will not express itself in any form of creativity, not any conventional form of creativity. But it may actually express itself in different ways. I just mentioned one, which is an outflow in human interactions - and outflow of - very hard to put a word to it, but you can sense it, when you meet a person who is present in the interaction. It's a different energy frequency that operates. And that is healing. It is so formless that it does not require a previously prepared vehicle. You can just be. And you emanate Being. |

A circle of spiritual / healing artists had a party to celebrate the year and the expression of healing art with an exhibition of their artworks and some products for sale. They each endeavour to raise awareness of art that portrays and contains spiritual healing energies. Each woman in the group, not only has their own brand of healing which, in most cases their art is used, but also infuse healing energies into their art works. There is a strong community spirit within the group, as each woman in some way is part of community projects that enhance the coming together and awareness within the community.
The party was a great success with champagne at the door and lots of nibbles and indulgent goodies. They were so busy enjoying themselves that they forgot to film the actual party! For information about each artist and their artworks click on the artist below.

We know there's a beginning, a kind of misty secret
that wraps itself around us - that way we get to keep it
it snares us and it binds us and makes us slaves of dreadful longing
Then loops back and sings a story of the light within its mystery
And we, spellbound turn from longing with eyes born again to see
All gods children in heaven & earth gather round to hear the story
Of this light family's birth
From the cosmos they sang stories - woven like a spiders web
silver strands of luminescence from the 3rd eye in their heads
And the garden it was perfect cloaked in the glory of heaven & earth
In our cocoons then she watched love over us
She is our mother, she gave us birth
For we are ancient and we know not what our true beginning is

Coming back to the sweet memory of your cocoon of luminescence

Is Your Health And/Or Weight Being Effected By Money Programs

I recently worked with a client who came with health challenges. She was gaining weight despite her rigorous diet and excercise regime and had dangerous blood clotting and fatigue. We were both a little surprised when the balance indicated was a money balance. Another client was working through chronic anxiety and loneliness issues. Again we were suppreised to clear the issues using a money balance. How I love (and trust) that the RAW balance always accesses through your bodies wisdom the correct balance for the issues.
Money is just one part of our life and probably the most distructive force when it is out of balance. There is no doubt that it effects every area of your life.

The night I took this photo the baby climbed down and sniffed my arm.
Tonight I was sitting on my verandah step and the baby possum ran out of the bush, ran over to me, sniffed my foot for about 10 seconds, then ran back to mamma. Soooooo awesome.
In Scott Alexander King's (who I met the other day and is just divine!) Australian Animal Possum Oracle Cards, the possum means opportunity. To be in such close commune with wild animals is an amazing opportunity in itself - that spiritually they herald opportunity is just an added bonus!

Shadow Self
So how is it possible to not just shield one's self from the every day onslaught of nasty behaviour, but to not join in as well. To always come from a place of love, not sit on that judgment throne we as humans love so much (an animal would never stoop so low) and to remain pure in a toxic environment. I asked a similar question of a Buddhist monk from Nepal a couple of years ago. He spoke of going within and being still, clarity will come. I personally think he was trying to say "don't sweat the small stuff".
This is the shadow self we try to pretend isn't there. The ugly part of us, that comes out upon occasion, usually at the most inopportune of times and is very primitive. The shadow self is full of ego but also full of self esteem issues as well. As soon as we feel inferior (in our own minds), it's easier to handle by making someone else deficient. After all, if we felt better about ourselves we would have no need to put anyone else down. Putting others down immediately lowers us energetically and spiritually, contaminating our aura. The shadow self creates an illusion between our egos and the real world.
Influenced by environment, upbringing and past lives, it can feel like a battle of control at times. But that uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach is the conscience at work. Listen to it. Usually the biggest reason for doing the gossip thing is to integrate with others, feel like you fit in. The irony is that these same people are probably gossiping about you. Don't forget the saying 'what you send out is what you get back'. It's amazing how these insecurities about others can completely mess with your head too. Inflaming anger, insane jealousy and paranoia towards the most innocent of people, who are unaware you are even having a problem. I copped a dose of this from someone recently and was left bewildered for awhile. Then decided to hand it back over to her to deal with, it had nothing to do with me in the end.
All you can do, is keep doing the work on yourself. Regular meditation to quiet the mind of clutter, that tends to build up. Remember that compassion and empathy releases judgment from your energy. Being conscious of it as soon as it happens will shed light onto the shadow to help diminish it. At the end of the day, does it really matter if someone looks like Shrek, after all, millions of children and some adults think he is fabulous and even cute. There is good in everyone, even those you feel are being mean to you.
Create Your Christmas Spirit
Don't we all wish for a happy, joyful and harmonious Christmas? When practicing Feng Shui it is most important for me to address my clients' life circumstances and the desired improvements. Over the years I have noticed that the most desired improvements relate to Health, Family harmony, Wealth and Relationships. If any of these relate to your life circumstances, here are some tips.
Regardless of the sector we are dealing with, it is essential to clear and clean out this area and only put back what you or your family members really, really, really like. Remember, you would not make tea in a cup that had coffee in it without washing it first, or pour white wine in a glass that has red wine in it without washing it, the same relates to any space. Health/Family - This area is in the left middle sector of your home. Place a picture of yourself and your family members (it is important that everyone is happy and as everyone would like to see themselves). Place a wooden or green bowl with fresh fruit and/or fresh vegetables appropriate to the living space. During the Christmas Season you can add nuts and other treats that you can eat without feeling guilty. It is important that we only display what we can eat and makes us feel good.
Wealth - This area is the front left sector of your home. If possible put up your Christmas tree in this area. Decorate it with gold and purple. Flashing lights are great activators. Hang pictures of an item or a wish on the Christmas tree. Make sure that the presents under the Christmas tree are gifts that will make the person receiving it happy. If you don't know what the person would like, ask or give a gift voucher. Cluttering someone's space does not attract abundance in the give's or receiver's life.
If you can't place the Christmas tree in this area, create a vase or bowl with tree branches and decorate it with similar items.
Relationship - This area is the front right sector of your home. First make sure that anything you have displayed is in pairs and when you look at it makes you feel happy. This area calls for yin nurturing energy. Rose Quartz Crystals and red candles preferable in pairs are great activators. Write on a red paper with black pen or on yellow paper with red pen what you would like in relation to a new or existing partnership, fold the paper and place it under the item(s), you can make more than one lists, as you may have more than one Item.
Most important, make a list with what you offer to the relationship as there has to be balance in a good relationship. Carry this list with you during the day, so you can make amendments as you think of it. During the night place this list under your pillow.

To me, it now appears that the dreams we hold in our hearts can be REAL. They are of substance and therefore do not exist only in our heads. But because we only see them in our mind's eye - we sometimes think they are imaginary and therefore cannot or do not exist - Imaginary. But if you reach deep down FAR ENOUGH, you will find them and bring them INTO YOUR REALITY. This is the story of how I did just that.

Preface My name is Michael Goebel. Here begins the story of the (even) better part of my life :-) Being of German descent, my parents brought me up to believe in the ancient Germanic doctrine (I don't like the word 'religion'...). A somewhat pantheistic belief and simplistic belief, granted, however it does agree with Quantum Mechanics... God within me, God without How could I ever be in doubt ? There is no place where I may go And there not see God's face, not know That I am God's vision and God's ears So through the passing of the years We are the sowers and the sown Gods Self unfolding and God's own This particular belief system has a very simple canon of laws: 1. to Love God, for God IS Love. 2. to Love not only one's 'neighbour', but all human beings and living creatures 3. to never inflict needless suffering on any living creature 4. pray to God, not for oneself, but for others In this 'view', God is like this "ultimate parent" figure - all loving, all compassionate and all knowing. He IS one with his creation. He is ALL. You make life what it is, either a Heaven or a Hell, according to your actions. He does not punish or Bless - YOU do. Do the right thing and you "go to Heaven", so to speak... be bad and you make your life a "Hell". Simple. Easy to remember. More.....
