 Sitting in the Middle of Change, Selacia   

You sit right now in the middle of change. It's all around you and it's within you too. You can't escape it.  

Some changes you welcome but many you resist or simply don't like. As you approach the equinox next week, take a few moments to investigate your current feelings about change. Note the things that are causing you difficulty.

Here are a few things that you may find difficult about today's changes:

▪    Some changes you want are taking much longer than you anticipated

▪    The chaos of other people adds to your own disarray

▪    With so much data coming in 24/7, finding quiet moments can be challenging 

▪    Changes outside of your control - like wild weather - are becoming more common

Contemplating the big-picture of change will help you to have a greater understanding of yourself, others around you, and your shifting world. These moments ahead of the equinox are an excellent time to look within. Ask your inner wisdom to show you a higher view of the changes and to help you navigate life with more stability.  

On a daily basis connect with the following ideas:

▪    Am I overreacting to something?

▪    Is my timetable flexible enough to allow for divine timing?  

▪    What am I doing today to be nourished, grounded, and connected to spirit?

▪    Am I remembering to breathe regularly?

▪    Is there something I'm focusing on that is best done another time?

▪    What am I neglecting to pay attention to?

▪    How can I be more loving - to myself and others?

Right now is an excellent time to get your bearings in a new way. For you as a divine changemaker, this means having a grounded spiritual focus. It means developing the courage to sit where you do in a timeless way - without complaining about how long things have been so bad and without fantasies about the future.  

You are developing the skill to sit where you are - as long as it takes - and to be the change. You are learning to be accepting of your current happenstance - inhabiting the gap between the old and the new.  

Remember that each new cycle is another opportunity to plant new kinds of seeds. What will you plant today?    As you continue the journey of discovering your divine nature, we surround you with our love and blessings. We are The Council of 12.

The Feng Shui of our kitchen especially the stove can have a big influence our financial situation.  In Feng Shui the stove is known as the wealth generator. In our fast paced modern life the kitchen is often neglected or rarely used, hence lost opportunities to generate financial abundance.

We have outgrown many of the traditional metaphors, yet this one is as valid today as it was 4000 years ago. "If the kitchen has poor feng shui, the cook is tense or agitated. Food prepared by a cook under these conditions will undermine our health". It is the intention of feng shui to protect and support the cook in every way so the family can benefit from the food that comes from the kitchen.

To appease the cook, insure the stove is in good working order and use all the hotplates even if it is alternatively. The area around the stove also deserves special attention, eg keep the area clean and don't have any sharp or pointy objects (knifes, scissors etc.) pointing at the stove.

 If you have a door or an open space behind you when you cook place something on the wall behind or beside the stove that reflects what's behind you.

Elemental (Fire/Water) conflicts are very common in the kitchens. If stove and sink, oven and fridge are next to or opposite each other create an elemental conflict. The best cure for this, place Items of the wood element in between the conflicting elements such as plants, flowers, wooden cutting-board, green tea towel, green floor matt etc. depending on the situation and space available.

As wealth enhancer, ensure that the area has much daylight, is regularly aired and display in an attractive bowl the fresh fruit and vegetables that are used for the family's wellbeing.

The Arts Barn - A new creating place run by local people for local people is being birthed in our community and we are hoping you will help us tend it and watch it grow.  

What is it?
A place to meet and connect · A workshop space · Two meeting spaces · A rentable gallery space · Artwork and creations for sale · And in the future an eco-arts garden · Workshops in sustainable living and a place to educate yourself in sustainable ideas. Somewhere to explore new ways of being as the old ones no longer serve us. Where all creative, soulfilled, sustainable ideas to help heal our land and its people are embraced.

How can you help!
· Log on to www.artsbarn.org.au, check us out, subscribe! and let us keep you updated on whats new and exciting in projects, workshops and exhibitions. We are new so there's much much more coming to the website soon.

· Tell everyone you know that the space is rentable for meetings/workshops/exhibitions (open mondays at the moment for show throughs). Or book it yourself at only $7 per hour for workshops (more prices available on request). Money is the rain and the sun to help us grow.
· If you have talents you would like to offer or think we could use become a volunteer and do as much or as little as you would like. Every little helps. 

Where does the money go?
All money raised from workshops, exhibition space rental etc pays for the rent of the barn, services and the rest goes back into our funds to create our next project. None of our committee or volunteers get paid for the work that they do. We are all just passionate about bringing about change.

Projects successfully run:
Official opening art exhibition showcasing local creative talent.
The Big Blue Ball: a trash fashion and recycled costume ball with 3 course dinner and kush cabaret performance. A huge success, with tickets selling out and requests for us to do it again-soon!  
Working with the Kariong footprint festival running talks, a stage with local acts, an art exhibition and stalls.

Projects coming up soon:
Strawbale building workshops and a creative recycled fence for the eco-arts garden.

On Light

Ideas and musing on sharing, teaching, healing and other ways to share and spread light aka: information, knowledge, energy, wisdom, love.. A light loses nothing by shining brightly, nothing is taken away by others who may see it, be warmed by it or inspired by it. Nothing can be taken away as a light is ever renewing, expanding, and evolving. The illusion that something may be siphoned off, or taken away or lessened is just that, the illusion of loss or lack, just fear. All fear stems from fear of losing love, after all. Which is simply a form of energy.

What someone else may create with the knowledge, energy or light you have given off has nothing to do with you, its none of your business. There is plenty; a constant stream, a flow, more than enough ideas, resources, clients and energy for everyone. It's to be shared, not hoarded and kept. A candle or light bulb doesn't fear it's giving away too much light, it shines to the best of it's waxy capability or wattage. A healthy, happy and confident light is secure and safe in the knowledge that there is always more wax, electricity, or ideas, inspiration, resources, energy and love available. One just has to allow, receive, plug in, tune in, or strike the match. Everything is only energy after all, and the supply is truly infinite. The light bulb (person) is just the channel or conduit for the energy or power (Spirit) to make itself manifest in the world (Gaia).

To be an example of being a light, so others may tune in, plug in, be awakened, illuminated, and ignite and be their own light. Light can be mirrored though and expanded and increased by appreciation, validation and gratitude. Like a candle igniting another, light can be shared; awakening others by your own light shining can be likened to this. This can be scary or painful for them, as any change can be, but it is for the highest good.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
