Flink It!
The "flink it" feature allows you to store all your favourite websites in a place you can always find it!  And also to share it with your friends.  It will store every website to put it and allow you to highlight the ones that are your favourites and search on them via key words.  You can also see which websites your friends have stored and which websites all members of the site have stored. To get started, go to the interest menu, hover over it until you see the submenu, click on "my links" and Have fun!!  You can chose who you share it with and write a little summary about why it is so good, including your own website!

Blessed are the meek....these are the words running through my head that I woke to more and more often. I knew them from somewhere somehow the seemed familiar but that was all.

I had been diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue disease (a cross if you like between SLE (lupus) and rheumatoid arthritis.) I was a good patient following all the doctors advice with my weight ballooning to 120kg and fast heading to a dress size 22 due to medication. I struggled with dressing myself as pain and weakness wracked my body.Needless to say I was not in a happy place.

At this point something changed I had continued to ask the heavens for help and those words Blessed are the meek kept running through my mind like a mantra.

"If it is to be it's upto me" was always one of my core beliefs. What is a core belief? They are what Oprah would say "things I know for sure", beliefs that you have lived by, you don't know where they came from but part of who you truly are.

For me...I believe people come into your life for a reason, and things happen to you for a reason. The reason is all to do with lessons.

When you know the Earth is a teaching planet and you have chosen your life this time for a specific lesson/lessons you wish to experience for your Souls growth then you can stand back and look at these sometimes tough experiences with more acceptance and a calmer persona.

Remember too if you are not aware and don't "get" the lesson the first time then it will continue to come back in a different guise with different players until you finally look at the bigger picture and change the way you deal with it.

This was the place I found myself in...what to do now? If it was upto me and I had brought this on myself then how was I to fix it?

Being an avid reader I decided to start there and was drawn to Louise Hay's You Can Heal Your Life a book I still recommend to this day.

Another core belief for me was if you cut yourself ,it bleeds then in a week or so it heals without a trace .If your body has the ability to do that with small problems I thought it should be able to do that with any health problem given the right circumstances so the secret was to find the circumstances. The more books I consumed the more this belief was confirmed.

I found many alternative herbalists ,therapists, healers some worked some didn't for me that is. I learnt reiki and found this helped with my sleep patterns being an insomniac I was aware the body needed rest to heal so reiki was a good thing which I decided to learn more about.

I formed links with a great group who shared their knowledge and where I continued to grow and change my thoughts.

I would plateau for a while soaking in the information and allowing it to sit with me for awhile until I was pushed in a new direction. Amongst all of this I held a fulltime job and had school age children so the sense of responsibility to them was also strong for me to get better for them. Sometimes the pain and weakness was overwhelming but something inside kept my inquisitiveness searching for answers.

It was at this point that I met a man who had been in Egypt learning Angelic Reiki needless to say I was curious as I had been drawn to all things Angel. After having some healing with him things changed. The healings were amazing not like I had experienced previously and I felt a calmness and assuredness that I was on the right track .I believe this energy shifts things moves the dross quickly if you like that is my experience anyway as weight came off and my hair grew back thicker and healthier. Believing strongly in this amazing energy I have gone on to learn and now teach this to others.

On saying all of this your healing is your responsibility and if you are not open or ready or if you enjoy your illness then nothing will work for you I was ready that is all. The secret really is IT IS UP TO YOU.....you can go to as many doctors, therapists, healers as you like take all the tonics and vitamins but if you are not ready to step up to your full potential to be who are you truly meant to be then you are not ready for your healing .Sometimes things have to get pretty bad a dark night of the Soul perhaps before we decide enough is enough....it is up to you.

Someone rang me one morning and read me a passage from an old book Starseed Transmissions by Ken Carey "True Spiritual leaders will not try to hold you in subordinate patterns, but will pull you as quickly as they can to their level, and push you, if you are capable of going beyond. On the other side of the psychological process, the greatest among you will, as Jesus taught, be the servants of us all. It is these servants who will rightly occupy the necessary positions of practical leadership. Those who do not have the humility to accept this necessary authority in matters of day to day living will not be among the meek who inherit the Earth".

My life continues to move toward a more spiritual way of being as I follow my inner guidance and feel an inner peace and calmness that I now know my life's path and you can do it too....it is upto you!
