Welcome to the May Spiritual Connections newsletter. Spiritual Connections continues to expand and change over May. We are constantly including new practitioners to the service directory and now have a section for those teaching workshops and courses.

Practitioners can advertise their services via the adverts page rather than just as a listing in the service directory. If you have interesting newsletters you would like to add- we now also have an "interest" page which contains information about local authors and speakers, interesting articles, links and channels. Feel free to email content you feel is worth sharing.

Spiritual Connections facebook page is a place that you can paste any events or can be used as a noticeboard, however in order for the events to be seen in date order and emailed to the members, you will need to also list them on the site via the form on the calender page. There are now facebook pages for Spiritual Connections in Melbourne, Brisbane and Townsville, so let your friends in those areas know!

If you haven't already, you can join the email list by clicking on the link on the website and filling in your details. If you are receiving this email you may already be a member and can amend your membership details to select whether you get monthly newsletters, invitations to events or both. If you would like to see specific events or services listed on the site or in the newsletter, drop us a line and let us know.

Spiritual Journeys

Spiritual Journeys are a series of talks and interactive gatherings which are held three times a month on the 2nd and 4th Saturday and the 3rd Wednesday. The name reflects the nature of speakers who are not only talking about the service they provide or the information they have come to share but also how they journeyed to get there.

The talks offer the opportunity to meet with like minded people and talk about interesting topics, mingling over an organic coffee in beautiful garden surrounds. When we express our thoughts and talk about our journeys we expand ourselves and others.

The Central Coast and surrounds attracts some amazing, talented people who are enriching the lives others through their gifts. We each have a purpose and our journey through life reveals how we have come to learn all aspects of that purpose to be able to share it with others. By understanding not only what people are doing, but why they are doing it and how they have reached this point, we are understanding their divine message and role and how that fits into our own lives and lessons.

Spiritual connections understands that by the law of attraction, the people who attend for the talks are the exact people who need to hear the message of each individual speaker as there is something in their journey or message that is valuable to each member of the group. There may also be someone in the social gathering afterwards who you need to connect with.

You are welcome to bring fliers and brochures advertising your services. If you have books, CDs or Crystal to sell you are welcome to bring these. The talks are interactive so feel free to join in or to simply listen.

Spiritual Journeys is offered at the gorgeous St Fiacre Distillery, previously called "The Fragrant Gardens", alongside the "Spiritual Visions Gallery". Organic Sacred Grounds Coffee and food is available prior to the talks which now run from 1pm to 2pm. Following the talks, there are several hours to mingle over coffee.

New addition!! From 10am to 5pm on the day of the talks, medical intuitive readings, life psychology by numbers and Rekindled ancient wisdom treatments will be available...so come early!!

Susy Plummer is a Visionary artist and Teacher. She has worked in this field of alternative insight for the past 9 years, creating Spirit Guide and Angel portraits and teaching others to access their own creative talents and gifts. Susy will be discussing the life of being an Angel and Spirit Guide artist and teacher.

Telling the enlightening stories connected to her drawings, including the story mentioned in Mitchell Coombes new book "Sensing Spirit".

She will also be giving short readings using her guide drawings as the focus.

R/B is a healing modality using the breath and accessing the root cause of a problem/ issue/ non peaceful condition, bringing significant and lasting change in a client's life.
The power in the process is: 1. all that is needed is the breath 2. the client goes back to the relevant incident; they don't know in advance and they don't have to know, the breath will take them exactly where they need to go. Craniosacral Therapy for Pets

What is CranioSacral Therapy?
It is a powerful, yet extremely gentle hands on therapy, using no force or manipulation. The therapist listens with her hands to what is going on in the body and in this way identifies and relieves pains, tensions and stagnation held in the body and its extended energy field. It is such a gentle therapy that it is safe and suitable for all ages and appropriate when other therapies may be unsafe, such as during pregnancy and for newborns, young ones with learning difficulties and after an operation, accident, fall or injury. CST can also be used to attain and maintain optimal health, in particular in relation to stress.

CranioSacral Therapy for Pets
CranioSacral Therapy works as well on horses, dogs, cats or other animals as it does on humans, and usually very visibly so. The animals close to us don't only have to contend with their own physical, emotional or mental problems, but they often take on their human's issues as well in some form or other.

Many dogs are, due to breading characteristics or breeding flaws, born with physical disadvantages, such as unproportionality in back/leg length ratio or hip dysplasia causing many problems with the back, pelvis and knees. On top of this dogs are very close to us emotionally and carry much of our emotional baggage. They also tend to manifest physically some of our physical strains and illnesses.

Cats, on the other hand appear more detached from us, and much fewer of them carry our baggage in that way. Instead they contribute to their human's wellbeing in other ways.

Many horses are very highly developed beings and are very tangibly energetically uplifting for their humans, but they, just like the dogs, take on some of their owner's physical, emotional and mental imbalances and densities. For horses there are the added complexities of how we like to use them for riding and various more or less strenuous equine sports or work. Horses are very affected by their riders, who at varying levels of riding ability and with physical and emotional imbalances and restrictions of their own often transfer these patterns to the horse.

For these reasons of transference it may be very beneficial to treat both the animal and its owner (or rider). This may allow the animal to easier and faster lessen its total burden of restrictions and imbalances, before treating it.

To treat the human once or twice first also gives him better understanding of what may happen on the inside and change in the animal during and after sessions. If the human hasn't tried it himself he will not be able to imagine what is happening and changing for the animal. When the human is present during the animal's session, a deeper connection also arises in their relationship with each other, making it common for the human to experience a much closer contact with and understanding for their animal after CranioSacral work.

Introducing Christine Bannigan-

Christine Bannigan has published two books in her Evolution Series. The third will be released in 2010. Contract To Live (2003), The Blossoming Heart (2009) and Portal to Freedom (2010) cover her archetypal journey from corporate stress-head to a more balanced way of being.
