Invisalign® uses a system of progressive, clear plastic trays to gradually move teeth into their correct position. No brackets or wires are used. To begin, Dr. Wilson will take an impression of your teeth, and Invisalign® will craft a set of trays specifically designed for your mouth. Each time you visit our office, we'll replace the previous tray with a new one that's just a bit different - and a bit straighter - than the one before. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, your teeth will gradually adjust to fit into the new tray. We continue this cycle until the last tray is worn, and the perfect smile emerges. The frequency of visits and number of trays is determined by Dr. Wilson and is dependent on the amount of correction needed. The benefits? No bands, no brackets, no wires - the solution is virtually invisible! |

Invisalign® works perfectly with today's busy, active lifestyles. Instead of the traditional routine of tightening wires and fixing brackets, most visits to our office will consist of simply running in to pick up a new tray and completing a progress check, conserving your valuable time. Also, unlike traditional treatment, the trays can be removed for sports (and replaced by a mouth guard, of course). And, since treatment doesn't include brackets or bands, you'll have no more worries about broken pieces or appliances and unexpected repair trips to the office. If you lose a tray, just call Dr. Wilson and swing by to pick up a new one! You'll truly be amazed at how convenient Invisalign® treatment is. |

Sound too good to be true? It's not; this is a real orthodontic solution. Invisalign® has been helping patients achieve bright, straight, pride-inducing smiles for years. Not all patients are ideal candidates; patients who have more severe orthodontic conditions may still need traditional treatment. However, for patients who need minimal, straightforward tooth movement, Invisalign® treatment is an excellent solution. If you have too much space between teeth, a mild to moderate overbite, or a slight rotation of the teeth, Invisalign® is a great choice! The success of Invisalign® depends on your commitment to wear the aligners and follow protocol. When treatment is complete, you may continue to wear a traditional retainer to protect your new smile against any movement, just as you would with traditional braces. |
