Greetings!
Summer is almost over and I hope you enjoyed some vacation time with friends and family! It has been a busy summer for BIZPHYX with our team constantly traveling and leading clients through training, internal audits and implementations.
Our new podcast channel has been very successful and because of such positive feedback, we will be expanding podcast education in 2012. We want to make sure that you are even more prepared to maximize your quality management system. TL 9000 NEWS: Has TL 9000 Really Improved Telecom Industry Quality?

When clients are making the decision to certify to TL 9000, a question we are often asked is if certification will make their company stronger and help to reduce the cost of poor quality. The answer is a resounding "yes". To back-up claims about TL 9000 and TL 9000 certified companies; QuEST Forum publishes a number of reports regarding measures in different categories.
Has TL 9000 improved telecommunications industry quality? That would also be a resounding "yes" and the numbers simply don't lie. We have all of the recent reports posted on our Knowledge Base and this was the subject of a recent post on our support desk.
If you need case statements to help support your claims about TL 9000 in an RFP for new business or if you simply want to review these stats as you prepare to make the financial investment to certify a new division of your organization, take advantage of these reports. For example, did you know that five categories experienced major delivery performance improvement? The overall variability across categories reduced from (31% - 98%) to (72% - 99%) and the Worst In Class delivery performance improved on average from 30% to 54%. This supporting data can be found in the On Time Delivery (OTD) Study.

This course demonstrates how to conduct an effective management review and takes the mystery out of the process. Management review in the QMS world has a specific meaning. Certain items must be discussed and evidence recorded in order to demonstrate to an outside auditor that you have conducted a successful review of your QMS.

Just as TL 9000 requires an organization to determine critical procedures related to providing their product or service, ISO 14001 requires identification and documentation of areas where the product or service may impact the environment. What encompasses an environmental management system is how these aspects are managed, once they are identified.
Incorporating ISO 14001 into an existing TL 9000 structure begins with an understanding of the unique environmental aspects for an organization.

BIZPHYX Vice President, Jennifer Simcox recently completed a USA sanctioned sprint triathlon in Atlanta benefiting a great cause-ovarian cancer research.
