Cinco de Mayo is full of celebratory music and dance, delicious food & drinks galore. The festival has been embraced throughout the U.S., even by those whose Spanish consists of three familiar words: fiesta, cerveza, and margarita! Well, here's a new word for you. ~Empanada~ An empanada is a Spanish and Portugese stuffed bread or pastry, also known as "impanata" in Italy. Empanada is made by folding a dough or bread patty around the stuffing. Check out this yummy recipe. Ole! |
