Practice Entity - Which Organization is Best for You and Why it Matters
   

Choosing the correct structure for your veterinary practice is an important decision with consequences reaching far into the future.  Selecting your practice structure is definitely not a 'do it yourself' project.  Substantial tax, legal and accounting expertise is required.  Veterinarians nevertheless need to stay active in the process to ensure the experts' narrow technical proposals get folded into a coherent plan that reflects your needs and goals.     

  

 

 

 

ALERT: NJ Practices - Are You In Compliance With This New Law Change?

 

Starting November 7, 2011 all NJ employers are required to post in a conspicuous place in each of the employer's workplaces, a form notification relating to its obligations to maintain and report records regarding wages, benefits, taxes and other contributions and assessments under New Jersey's wage, benefit and tax laws.

 

Employers must also distribute the notification to all current employees by December 7, 2011.  For all employees hired after November 7, 2011 they must receive a copy of the notification upon hire.

Marketing Tip - Find Your Client Base Radius 

 

When marketing in the veterinary industry it is important to define your client base range.  One of the easiest ways to do that is by looking at your client list and determining the towns or zipcodes the bulk of your clients reside in. 

 

Once you have this information, you can plot the points on a map and find the 5 mile air radius to see where would be the most effective markets to reach.
