What is "News to Use"?
Veterinary Business Advisors is happy to present the inaugural edition of its monthly newsletter NEWS TO USE. To be published around the first week of each month, our goal is to provide you with practical and informative articles and news tidbits to help you deal with various business, operational and managerial issues that confront professionals within the veterinary industry. Content will vary, but may include a feature story, a practice tip of the month, Q&A's from our readers, perhaps advice from a "guest speaker", and other relevant and, hopefully, entertaining information.

Who Is Veterinary Business Advisors (VBA)?
Veterinary Business Advisors, Inc., is a nationwide business consulting firm that provides strategic, managerial, operational and human resources advice and guidance to the veterinary profession.
Our founder and CEO, Charlotte Lacroix, DVM, JD, has more than 20 years experience supporting the veterinary profession. Dr. Lacroix earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis and completed a large animal internship at the University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada). Additionally, she worked for several years at an equine medical and surgical referral practice serving northern New Jersey's large equine community. Following her time as a practicing veterinarian, Dr. Lacroix earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We are very pleased to announce that Martin H. (Marty) Miller, MBA, SPHR, has joined the firm as its Human Resources Practice Leader. In this newly formed role, Marty's primary mission is to provide a full spectrum of HR guidance and support to veterinarians and veterinary hospitals nationwide. Though Marty is relatively new to the veterinary industry, he possesses a wealth of practical HR experience and expertise. Read more
