Features six key sea vegetation complexes that are rich in naturally occurring iodine. This is especially important for increasing your body's iodine levels so that the thyroid will reject radioactive compounds, among other toxins and chemicals, from the thyroid.
Radiation can cause the reduction of leukocytes in the blood and weaken immunity. In animal tests, it's found that polyphenols in green tea can retard the damage of immunity cells caused by radiation, help repair the damaged immunity cells and white blood cells and protect marrow cells from radiation.
Every cell in the body uses SOD to combat damaging free radicals produced by normal cellular reactions. As we age, our bodies begin to produce less SOD, which leads to aging and the potential development of degenerative concerns. Dr. Petkau himself, discovered that the body specifically used SOD to mitigate radiation damage. In fact, it has been effectively used with cancer patients after each course of radiation treatment.

Fukushima Update
In the past few months our news has been filled with reports of volcanoes, a royal marriage, climatic upheavals around the globe, a crumbling US economy, and much more. Among all of the hurry-n-scurry, we wanted to bring back to light a very real scenario that is continuing to unfold, yet has faded in the headlines. Almost 5 months ago, the worst nuclear accident in history occurred in Japan.
The situation has not gone away, and the implications for the near future and far off future are very real. Thus, we have spent the last few months researching and compiling data so we can give you a more accurate picture of what really happened and how it applies to our current life. We share with you what officials and the media did not, we dispel the common myth that there is such a thing as "safe" levels of ionizing radiation, we bring you experts without 3rd party connections, and we help you apply practical tips for you to protect yourself.
The good news in all of this, is that knowledge equals freedom and power. Dispelling the lies and uncovering the true reality enables you to make the best possible choices for you and your family. The even better news is that the highest possible state of health is the best security for times like these. There is ABSOLUTELY no need to go into fear. As you will learn here we have been exposed to radiation for over 6 decades, it's nothing new. So instead, what we need to do is continue to pay attention, continue to do our own sleuthing, and always continue to improve our health!

Fukushima - More of an Impact on the Northern Hemisphere Than You Think
The nuclear disaster that took place at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi power plant last March has sparked a lot of well deserved inquiries about the possible exposure in the US from the radioactive fallout. As the situation continues to unfold, and news reports have all but ceased, it is difficult to get accurate information about radiation exposure. Certainly in this instance, no news is not necessarily good news. All along officials have painted the health risks as isolated to the immediate area around Fukushima, yet a growing body of evidence indicates there may be more of an impact worldwide than we think, especially for North America.
In fact, the current proposal by the EPA to change the PAG's (Protective Action Guides) to raise the acceptable levels of radiation in our food, the environment, and humans in the event of a "nuclear emergency" is enough to cause speculation. Before we go into how much radiation the US has actually been exposed to, let's look at what officials and the media have not been telling us. READ MORE>>>

Radiation Protection
The meltdown which occurred at the Fukushima Daichii Power Plant just over 4 months ago is the worst nuclear accident in history, and the long term implications are yet to be seen. The good news is that this tragedy has reignited the public's awareness about the safety of nuclear energy. The bad news though, is that we have been increasingly exposed to ionizing radiation for decades, and we're just now learning about it. READ MORE>>>

Nuclear Testing from 1945 to 1998
 | | nuclear testing.wmv |
Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto has created a beautiful, undeniably scary time-lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions which have taken place between 1945 and 1998, beginning with the Manhattan Project's "Trinity" test near Los Alamos and concluding with Pakistan's nuclear tests in May of 1998. This leaves out North Korea's two alleged nuclear tests in this past decade (the legitimacy of both of which is not 100% clear). Each nation gets a blip and a flashing dot on the map whenever they detonate a nuclear weapon, with a running tally kept on the top and bottom bars of the screen. Hashimoto, who began the project in 2003, says that he created it with the goal of showing "the fear and folly of nuclear weapons." It starts really slow - if you want to see real action, skip ahead to 1962 or so - but the buildup becomes overwhelming. |
