Why Did the Russians Ban This Appliance Found in Almost Every American Home?

By now, we're sure you know that what you eat has a profound impact on your health. But HOW you cook it may be a different story. The Russians banned this handy device in the 1950's, and for a good reason!
Did you know that in the early 1990s a law suit was filed after a woman died from a simple blood transfusion after a nurse heated the blood for the transfusion in a microwave?
Blood for tranfusions are routinely warmed, but never in microwaves. So if this one time was enough to distort her blood to the point of killing her, what do you think microwaves are doing to your food?
How Does A Microwave Heat Food? Unlike conventional convection cooking, which heats food from the outside in, microwave ovens heat drinks and dinner from the inside out. High-frequency microwaves starting at around 500 MHz and extending up in the infrared frequencies permeate food, forcing water molecules to heat up by bending them rapidly back and forth. The result is a fierce electrical whiplash. Swiss scientists discovered that electrically-charged atoms in the cells bombarded by microwave ovens are forced to reverse their life-giving electrical polarity or "charge" up to 100 billion times a second.

Do You Need to Be Taking Probiotics?

Your intestinal flora has incredible power over your immune system, with more than 100 trillion bacteria lining your intestinal tract. This intestinal lining, which acts as an internal mucosal barrier, covers about 300 square meters (nearly the size of a tennis court). This is an extremely complex living system that aggressively protects your body from outside offenders, including toxins, pathogenic bacteria, viruses and fungus. In fact, 80% of your immune system resides in your intestines! Your colon alone contains approximately 3 to 4 pounds of bacteria. Over 700 types of intestinal bacteria are harmful while only 20 types are beneficial. To maintain good health the colon needs a ratio of 85% health-promoting "good" bacteria to 15% or less harmful bacteria. When this balance is disrupted numerous health problems can arise including constipation, malabsorption, poor digestive function, toxemia (toxic blood), allergies, candida overgrowth, and weakened immune function. How does our modern lifestyle counteract the growth of beneficial bacteria while promoting harmful bacteria, and why now more than ever, is there a need to replenish the probiotics missing from our diets?
